Comment from T in the Park on Facebook:

"Hi Christopher Allison - We ask our fans to fill in a survey each year and vote for who they want to see at T in the Park. We are a multi-genre festival and book as diverse a line up as possible because we have 85,000 people who have different tastes, that's why right across the bill theres a mix of rock, dance, pop, indie, urban and rap. If Rihanna isn't for you, you can see Beady Eye, alt-J and My Bloody Valentine at the same time."

Pretty much confirms MBV as Transmission headliners, which is like their equivalent of the FR Stage is it not? Still find it silly that they weren't booked for R&L.

Not really equivalent to FR. FR is moreso a lot of unknown smaller names. I saw Ed Sheeran a few years back but didn't know of him until a m8 mentioned him. Tranmissions you will know a lot of.

But yes, I see BE as Radio 1 obvs, Alt-J as Tut's and MBV as Trans - don't like them but fairplay. Don't like Alt-J, I was happy with Rihanna, think my m8 will see Alt-J. Frank Ocean for Tut's, Foals for Transmission

Yeah I reckon it's pretty likely. Hoping for letlive and Title Fight too; can't think of much else.

By the way has anyone seen that Nine Inch Nails are headlining a date at Belsonic with And So I Watch You from Afar as support? Now that would be a sight to behold.

I would have thought so, yeah. I can see the Lock Up/Rock Stage finishing before the headliner every night, in which case it'd be fine. If I could catch Biffy, NIN, ASIWYFA, Editors, Tribes and Arcane Roots on that day I'd be over the moon. I sense an Editors/Tribes clash though.

I think if Editors/Tribes clash I'll choose Editors, if the new album is as good as the single then it'll definitely settle it for me. My friends like Tribes so next time they tour I can catch them then, or if they play R&L again which I don't doubt they will in the next couple of years, whereas no one else like Editors so I ought to take this chance to see them :P
