2007's line-up was one of the weakest the festival has ever had. A strong Top 2/3 for each day, but most of the line-up was landfill Indie and boring emo nonsense. Plus the "Nu-Rave day" in the tent...I shudder.

Of course, they more than made up for it the following year.

Nah Metallica could still do it. Hell, they have to do it as per their 5 year rule contract

To be honest, if we have System, Biffy, and NIN, then we should count ourselves lucky regardless of the 3rd headliner.

09 had radiohead. 09 cannot be the worst. 11 looks like the worst to me.

Not at all. But with a new album on the way for i think the end of the year, a 2014 headline slot playing the new album seems more likely to me.

there wasn't enough on mainstage or NME on saturday or sunday in 09 for me. To be honest my range in music taste expanded alot by 11 so I could appreciate more.
