Ah yeah, cause know one on here has changed a prediction in 14months lol.

I only just made a 1st go at 2 bands on Reading yesterday and people have made and changed already. This whole, oh you said that 1st, can't change that now. Bullshit! Neil thinks things himself, then changes his mind later, it happens!

When you have living proof they won't then fairplay, until then they are possible, anything is possible.

Not sure if this has been brought to light but a newspaper in South Africa called Mail & Guardian (bear with me) did an interview with Colin from Radiohead and they say the band are on break.

Radiohead are on a nine-month break until September when they will start work on their ninth album.

What's the feeling on Depeche Mode? They are playing in Ukraine on the Saturday and Sweden on the Thursday, is it possible to fly over for the Sunday? Unfortunately I think it's wishful thinking, but it's possible. Probably more likely to be an Other headliner than Pyramid I think

I not having a pop, but this is why people moaned about your Eminem thing. It's hardly guessing something if 12 months to go..... It's this band, 11 months its this band, 10 months its this band and so on. That's why people have a issue with reactions about getting things right. To me, I don't care, and quite clearly when Dizzee is a headliner for Glasto well it's me first.......

I think Biffy will be the 2nd headliner for Reading announced on Tuesday (or whenever it is being announced). Personally think M&S will then be announced as Guests or something similar later on. Obviously it's all opinion

the Eminem thing is bollocks. Go and actually read what happened. The guy predicted Eminem in a 3 a few days before. The problem isn't that every band or whatever had been predicted, it was that it was put out there as one of them, note! Not the one to even be announced that night, just one of them. Arctics was said as it can't be ruled out, thats not saying they will just that they have a new album etc.

The part that was disliked was that Eminem had been in a prediction a few days before and ended up being announced that might, that wasn't necessarily was Gazza said would be done, just out the 3 said it was one of them.

Thanks were given to people who said Gazza was right, nell done etc, as to be polite back.

The fact you will even see a written piece from him stating that efests most likely knew this info earlier in the day but needed to hold back for certaim reasons which is fair enough too.

He wasn't trying to say he got it right 1st, as with efests you probably won't have it without them secretly knowing it. It was to say thanks to people who said well done on predicting it, but got blown right out. From what i got, all was happy to leave it at thanks, but there was people more pissed off than others so it didn't.

Take what you will really.

Haha, that pretty much says a lot about this forum. If it's more than 2 lines, people aren't interested!

You brought it up, I corrected you. Your issue, not mine.

And whatever your 3rd person rubbish is about lol, I will never know

    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
