The 02 shows had fantastic reviews both professionally and from people I know who went who have seen them numerous times over the years, everyone said unanimously it was the best the stones have played in ages. The set list was spot on as well - if they replicate that then there's no reason it won't be a successful headline set.

While I wouldn't bet on it being just a run-through of his older material, I think a headline set from Dizzee would at least include bits and pieces from earlier in his catelogue. In the relatively shorter space of time he was given at Reading 2010 for example he did do Jus' A Rascal, Fix Up Look Sharp, Pussyole... As a headliner he could expand on all of that stuff and still have plenty of time to do all his latest hits. He knows his older albums were good, I'm sure.

Mumford to announce 1 English date on Tuesday, speculated to be a gig at the Olympic Stadium. Then 3 in the US and one in Canada. I'd say it makes them more likely for Glasto as it gives them time to sell out the tickets by April then get announced for Glasto. Means they'll only have 2 summer gigs in the UK, so will seem quite exclusive to both bookers, and will get the money from sales but also the exposure from glasto.

Yeah, I hope what's happened is R&L have them tied into an England exclusivity deal so Michael wont be able to go to them for the 3rd headliner he's apparently looking for.

I watched Radiohead and went the long way around past the West Holts and up to the Pyramid to avoid the Other crowd and got there in plenty of time to catch U2, the crowd seemed pretty sparse further back and i don't think it was that packed at all, the dreadful weather probably had something to do with it. It defeated me and i fled to the tent about 20 mins from the end. Primal Scream pulled in a good crowd from what i could see on the box afterwards, i wish i'd had gone to see them, as i thought U2 a let down really. A like wise act up against the Stones would pull some of the crown away, someone like the Stones Roses. Dizzee Rascal might pull in a fair crowd for the younger crowd up against the Stones who will i'm sure attract the older amoungst us. I may be wrong.

Eminem and Mumford would be an enormous par of headliners for R&L, possibly the two biggest draws they've ever booked, they could easily make an exception for a few other Mumford if that's the only way they could have them.
