MrZigster
The Darkness just rocked last night. Justin Hawkins is truly a Rock God. What a performer/vocalist/guitarist. I thoroughly recommend them to everyone. Just incredible stagecraft. Quite possibly the best act I've ever seen. If every band put that much effort into their performances there'd be a lot less moaning about ticket prices. Ed209
Sabbath were fantastic. Not the best gig I've seen this year but maybe the most entertaining. Ozzy was pure hilarity and the rest sounded fantastic. And the drummer?! Fuck me! An absolute beast.

jump
Saw Gogol Bordello last night and I was a bit disapointed with them, not sure why as everytime I've seen them before they have been great.

Babyquack
Seeing The Prodigy in Bournemouth tomorrow! Bit of a trek for a band I have great nostalgia for hopefully get a few new tracks we didn't get at Download or Brixton last year...
PastCaring
Saw Gogol Bordello last night and I was a bit disapointed with them, not sure why as everytime I've seen them before they have been great. For me, Gogol are a festival band - seen 'em several times at festivals, and they were brilliant fun each time. The one time I saw 'em at a venue, it kinda didn't work so well …. The one time I saw 'em at a venue, it kinda didn't work so well …. I agree Gogol are a perfect fest band but I have seen them at their own show and been brilliant before. I'm just gonna rule it as a one off poor show.

t8yman
My NIN tickets arrived yesterday for Nottingham Arena in May. Really looking forward to this one. This video makes the new stage and screen setup look immense, as well as the changes to the makeup of the band (including 2 female backing singers) You dont need to watch Pt1, that one relates to the stage setup for last years festival dates. Bobs
Slow start? I take it that's sarcasm Slow start for me, i'm usually hammering out like 30-40 gigs a year! Less than 10 in the first 5 months of the year is unprecedented for me!
Bobs
His waiting for Courteeners And as for you, you LOVE The Courteeners, don't lie. But sadly they're writing new material, and upsets me to say, won't be about next year.
Uncle Liam
Slow start? I take it that's sarcasm If I wasn't stuck on the Isle of Man and lived in Manchester, London or Leeds (or similar), if I made it to less than 200 gigs in a year I would consider that a tragic failure.
