Stuart1000
Does anybody know if there is a livestream this year? Can't find anything to suggest it Don't think so. You'll probably get full sets afterwards on the BBC website though.

xdliam
Holy crap what a pisstake. Was only allowed to camp in red when we got here this morning, Ok cool I get that but FS it's about 5 miles away from the arena. They basically only have one arena entrance and it's around 40-50 mins away with all the crowds (and there's hundreds entering and leaving at a time). Looks like no going back to your tent during the day, unless you've got about 1hr 30m spare. Aghhhhh

Stuart1000
That's me just home from the site. The Citylink bus pick up was dire after the bands finished. Queues stretching for as far as the eye could see but no buses in sight. We eventually got on one about 1am but there were still hundreds (if not thousands) of people waiting on transport. Took us 90mins from the site back to Glasgow but about 150mins heading up there earlier. Still not too sure what to think of the new site. I'm heading back up on Sunday so I'm sure I'll form an opinion by then. We didn't really leave the Main Stage area today. All of the bands we were keen to see were Main, Introducing or T Break. It certainly feels a lot smaller, that's for sure.

jkb1
So having a timed bus ticket made no difference coming home? Just a free for all? Going up saturday opening, back midnight bus. This doesn't sound great.

Red Day
Main stage looked really small area on tv last night. How does it look when you're there
Matt42
Watching Avicii on TV now and it seems like the BBC are trying their hardest to show members of the audience not on drugs, but failing very badly.
DomDom1984
I'll be honest. I don't like Avicii but that looks like a party and a half.
brandycoke
Is there really any need for there to be anyone on stage at all? Random hit tunes, and a light show. The guy lip syncing to the tunes is just an irritant.
Chiefski
Considering the the crowd sizes some acts have shockingly had going by coverage, Twin Atlantic are nailing their set here
xtrmntr75
Just back into the house. Didn't bother with headliners. Girlfriend and her pal went to Proclaimers and said that even though the signs said tent full there were more just piling in. Think they got a fright as it looked like there may be a crush. xtrmntr75
..... Oh and I tried the Libs but they started sluggishly so I went to Alt J, who were really good.

thewayiam
I'll be honest. I don't like Avicii but that looks like a party and a half. To be honest mate, if you're into just hearing tunes you like, drinking and dancing away then a DJ set will do just that. Avicii was alright for Levels and his other commercial one's although Hey Brother is rubbish. I didn't quite like his newer song but I'd not like to be in a crowd for him, I was on the outside so away from the idiots.
