Wednesday, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mannequin Pussy, Violent Femmes, Melody's Echo Chamber, Nation Of Language, The Beths, Wavves and Tyler Ballgame have all now been announced for Canela Party and/or Meo Kalorama the following weekend (some of them will surely go to EOTR but UMO, NoL and Tyler played there in recent years)

Lots of Euro dates the weekend before, none the weekend of Green Man but playing Scotland a few days after. Unfortunately them being at R+L and supposedly being the secret EOTR headliner probably rules them out. They have London dates after R+L and I can’t see them spending 3 weeks in the UK.

Well that would be a shame. Thought there was a decent chance with them having done EOTR before.

Hello, first timer here. We were lucky to get tickets but I am wondering about the glamping. I'm not much of a camper and we are old so I am looking at the glamping options. Hotel Bell Tent looks good and I see there is another option called Tangerine Fields. Neither on sale yet but I am a little on edge because of how crazy the festival ticket sales are. Is it safe to get these tent reservations without a virtual stampede as with the ticket sales? I don't want to book airfare until I have something secured, so I am interested in advice regarding when these go on sale as well as any other recommendations.

Hi Will.

I'm heading for my 3rd Green Man next year, also coming from foreign climes. I don't want to be lugging a load of gear on the plane so have gone Tangerine fields last 2 years, prepitched 2 man tent for 95 quid, extra for mattress and sleeping bag. Perfect for me but would be a squeeze for 2 I'd imagine. Only good things to say about the experience. Campsite no frills but immaculately clean, quiet, nice neighbours, showers right beside us, 5 mins to arena. Great value for money. Went on sale early in the New Year last time out if I remember correctly.

I’ve managed to get tickets for the last 10 years on ticket sale day but this year was brutal (imo), so I’m also praying for resale luck. 2024 there were quite a few came up. Less so 2025. I think it will depend on the line up, and probably be a bit touch and go til closer to the date. I’m also seriously considering volunteering this year - know someone who does it every year and loves it.!

I’m also interested in how tixel decides who gets the auto purchase tickets first. On a few lists for various things.

Normally it’s St David’s Day (1st March) but as thats a Sunday this year probably a day or two before. It should be most of the line up though.

My wife accidentally had “any ticket type” on tixel and has autopurchased two teen settlement tickets! What are our options here? Do you think Green Man would upgrade these to adult if we paid the difference? Thanks all.

I don’t rate your chances. You could potentially ask them. I would email them rather than do it on a social forum though as I imagine the response will be you would need to sell those and look out for resale tickets yourself as they have a license for X amount in each category. 
 

I imagine I’ll have 2 settlement tickets to sell. We’ve been last 5 years and I love the place but just bought a campervan and given I imagine getting a ticket to that will be a nightmare and we quite like the EOTR headliners I think we are gonna try that instead this year.

We ended up selling them on, although didn’t realise that you don’t get the money until AFTER the event! Going to be 650 pounds down until late August.

Yeah I thought that would be the case. I think it would just end up going into the festival / holiday fund for 2027 and just have to suck it up until then.

 

Presumably they sold pretty quick then? I wasn’t expecting any issues getting rid but not done it before

They went immediately, yes. Tixel reckons there are over 5000 people on the waitlist so luckily they were very quickly snapped up.

Amyl and the sniffers are at APE on the 23rd but nowhere on 21 and 22.

 

Aldous Harding is on a massive tour most of the year but no bookings on the GM weekend.

You know what having looked at tour schedules I wouldn't be surprised to see a goodly amount from Amyl, Aldous Harding, Beta Band, Cate le Bon, Getdown and Geese. Is hoping for 4 tet too greedy?
