Feels like we just had Four Tet but looking through the lineup that was 2019, god he was dull. Just a load of lightbulbs and the crowd swaying like zombies to the occasional beep and boop.

Going to see Dove Ellis in April in a small venue, looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about. I'm manfully resisting the natural Irish urge to distrust a young lad with a name like Dove from Galway or indeed ANY young lad with such serious hype behind him. He has some lovely songs. Totally open to embracing him.

I've checked back, and last year the line-up came out the day before the launch party.

I’ve been told that one of the headliners is Mogwai and that geese are the secret headliner at EOTR which is no shock.

Rally announced him as a festival exclusive. Besides which he's in Europe all weekend.

Wonder if we’d get Tomora? Aurora has played before, they’re doing European festivals this August with no UK ones announced so far.

Any thoughts on the chances of Maribou State headlining - seem about right size - possibly too big maybe - and a good fit IMO. Also doing festivals in Europe this Summer??

mannequin pussy added to APE on GM weekend so hopefully that means they are back after they had to cancel last time. 
 

can see blawan being a good fit for a late night set as well.

I was at a sort of showcase mini festival in Dublin last night, always a few acts that show up at EOTR, Green Man, Westside Cowboy there last year,  Being Dead, Opus Kink, Adult DVD this year, Mary in the Junkyard etc. There were a Swedish crowd there last night, Boko Yout. Absolutely unbelievable. LOVED them. Best front man I've seen in eons. Really hope they're on the bill for GM.

Just got tickets to see them at the Brudenell (free gig tomorrow), support is Volk Soup who are excellent so should be good.

They responded to an instagram comment saying “news soon” which makes me think it’s next week rather than this week. Shame as I loved the whole “nearest Thursday to St David’s” drop.

Public Service Broadcasting announced a show in Halifax on Sunday August 23rd, with The Big Moon supporting. Both are bands I associate with GM but haven't played for a while.

As Gnomicide posted upthread, 2025’s line-up announcement came on 27 February, the day before the launch party. Which means this year it will be Wednesday March 5 if following that pattern.
