A lot of people seem to have decided it's Pictish Trail based on him commenting on the post on Instagram. Not sure I'm convinced. Why would GM bother putting out a clue for him when his appearance is already a given? Plus, no one has explained how that clue actually relates to PT.

I cannot see this being Pictish Trail since he plays every year, and cannot see any link to the clue, other than its got the word 'trail' in it?

Assuming the link with new jersey was the key one Tenuous maybe but what about Sir Chloe. I then searched and they've just played the rainbow in digbeth and touring the UK. Even if it's not the right answer they still might be on the lineup from what I'm reading about them.

I had been slightly hopeful that it'd be today after the Facebook story for yesterday's clue referred to it as the last, but I guess that's looking unlikely now.

Launch party on Thursday night, so would suspect Thursday morning at the earliest. They might wait until the evening to reveal anything.

Yeah, I was expecting it later in the week. It just seems a bit odd to start the clues and then cease them a few days before the announcement, since (if I'm remembering correctly!) they normally run up to the day before.

Hard to say as normally its a Thursday but last year it was the day before the lineup party so could be Wednesday.

 

I’m team tomorrow as the clues have dried up, as the user above said, you lose all momentum if we hear nothing until Thursday/Friday.

 

Here’s hoping we see an instagram story tonight teasing news tomorrow, I’m going loopy.

The line-up was released the morning before last year's launch party. They're not going to wait until the evening or after the event because it's all go straight online.

Agree with this, if that was the final clue, I'm thinking it'll drop tomorrow morning, with a fresh post on the socials later today to whip up the excitement.

Someone on the fb group anonymously teasing Primal Scream and TLDP. I imagine it could be the same fella who popped up on here.

 

Primal Scream feel like a really uninspired booking, they’re at every festival all the time and I feel like anyone who wanted to see them probably already has?

Yeah, Primal Scream played in my garden shed earlier this year as it was the only place they hadn't previously turned up at.

Hope its not Primal Scream, they havent done a decent album in years and Bobby Gillespie is an awful frontman.
At least Green Man will have somebody else on to watch at the same time. Despite all the rave reviews for CMAT last year I was at Caroline, who were amazing.

Agree it's not an inspired booking but could they be the Thursday Far Out headliner? Not sure I've seen any other shouts for who it could be this year

Both Primal Scream and TLDP would be incredibly dull headliners. I’ve gone from being excited about the announcement to feeling a degree of trepidation.

It's funny how few rumours and leads there've been this year. For last year we knew Kneecap and TVOTR were already in the country that weekend, Wet Leg made sense given their GM history and Fiona being big on the need for female headliners, and Underworld sneaked out late on. All we've heard this time is Four Tet from a couple of people, that one anonymous IG commenter (and they're always reliable, right?) and that Wilco are around.

Headliners are just getting tougher in general I think. I mean if you asked me to pick them myself, I'd find it difficult. Guarantee me Wilco and I'll take whatever else is going. Last years top line didn't blow me away but I had an amazing 4 days. Pretty sure I'll have 30+ acts I'm really looking forward to.

Might as well just repeat my post from the 2025 line up:

 

Bit underwhelming, don't know much of them etc etc...fast forward to June and I have a list of 40 acts I desperately want to see and clashes are killing me. 

 

Although Lime Garden is a huge win. Loved them last couple of times I've seen them and the new single (23) is an absolute monster.
