The first being a nod to the world cup is amazing. I went in 94 and the 3rd place match at the rose bowl so its a great homage. Sadly was not able to get any of it. Was running late last night. Might just try to make my own.

Pasadena vibes in the area! Great time. Overall good vibes. It was hot yesterday ( high of 33 ) so there were some medical incidents in the crowd. But i had some irish fans behind me and they were having a ball. You could tell most everyone eas singing along. People went for drinks during the Noel section. Poznan was fun.  Im sure if any of you went to the rose bowl you would pick apart everything about it. But there isnt anywhere like it. Time for another one tonight.

Besides attempting Uber, are there any other ways of getting back to LA if you don't drive?

Everything I read when I was considering going suggested it's an absolute shitshow

The second is as well isn't it? Wasn't that the 1994 mascot?

Thats the back of the shirt. Prob shouldve specified. They printed it front and back. The usa 94 logo on the front with the mascot on the back

It all depends where you were staying. the Metro runs back to downtown and you can catch another train and such from there and get around. I mean im pretty local and have gone there a bunch so its not that insane if you plan it out.  Everyones gonna scare monger cause some people have had bad experiences and think its always that way.

They had plenty of shuttles last night. I had to go late and took about an hour to go from shuttle line to the stadium gates. If i had arrived an hour earlier it was half that time. Im going early today and theres no way itll be a pain. Leaving the stadium just involves timing. You cant stay til the end end end without the shuttle line being madness. So i walked out during the final round of fireworks. Took 20 ish minutes through the shuttle line to get to the boarding area to wait. Then the only hiccup was 3 blocks from the drop off there was a literal wall of traffic. Somebody on our bus told the driver to let us out. They did and we walked. I was parked a couple blocks away but it was fine. i got home in 20 minutes after.

all of this is easier if you can find the people who know how to plan this out and tell you what you can do. I mean I wouldve told you to just stay in a hotel in Pasadena and such. Who cares if youre not by hollywood. You could also split your stay. Be in the touristy area when the show isnt happening and then be elsewhere when youre not. Most people who visit here think this city if hollywood, beverly hills and santa monica. They miss everything else which is a shame.

Very interesting, cheers.

I do plan to return at some point in the next few years. I'll be sure to reach out for tips when I do

Anyone got ideas how to get tickets for one of the last dates at Wembley end of this month? I've been religiously checking TM and Twickets but nada.

What's the deal with production releases? Do you have to register or is it pot luck for selecting people on the mailing list?

I thought it was if you'd registered for them originally, and then kind of pot luck.

I had a feeling that was the case but don't know anyone who has got an email for previous shows so wondered if there was something you needed to specifically sign up to

yes. if you had tried for those gigs and didnt get tickets they would notify about entering a ballot and then they would let you purchase.

Great setting. Assume that's a bit before the show, yeah?

yes. it was changeover after Cast had played so it was dusk and the mountains were all pink and such. i couldnt go higher up in the stands cause that side has the press box and you cant go to the lip where you can look down onto the other side. seen a fair amount of gigs there and a world cup match so its pretty special for me when theres a show there that i attend. the U2 360 live dvd was filmed there and that was an incredible night. just leaving was torture.

Good recording this. On good form. Liam sounding close to like he did about 25 years ago - how good was Live Forever? 🤯 Noel back into the lead guitar and seems more confident and the band has progressed from the UK leg. Itching to book a flight to Europe now if they announce a tour 🤟🏻

They'll probably set up new codes, if anything? Maybe they should just do 10 knebworths to satisfy the demand then everyone's happy 😅 otherwise it's just the same old frenzied blood bath. As long as it's not surge priced, hopefully they've learnt that lesson

The thing about the surge pricing thing which amazed me is the press went mad over it but acts like Coldplay were charging doubt the price for top tier tickets.  All very odd (daughters Lana tickets were more than our Oasis in the same area too)

ya'll got upset that the last 10% of tickets got marked up. Youre lucky its set up that way there vs here it goes up in 5 minutes of onsale.

Shame I'm actually in Tokyo when Oasis are there but resale is at least £350 so far

If you have free time, just go to the Tokyo Dome on show day, before gate open if possible. I heard that for many if not all of the concerts that happen there, production/restricted view seats are released from the box office (N.B. some production seats have been released already).

Mind you, concerts start in Japan very early in general, weekends in particular. And many of them don’t have a support (I don’t know about the Oasis shows, though).

25 Oct (Sat)/gate open:15:30/show start:18:00

26 Oct (Sun)/gate open:15:00;show start:17:30

Let me hastily add, “at your own risk”. You may end up wasting your precious time if you are unlucky.
