Trip update, because I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats:

Bought a Monday seat for MetLife because it was getting desperate. Had four friends in standing - so really needed to find my way in.

I did find my way in, into the very front pit. A lovely story which I'll relay when I'm back.

A very surreal and special experience, in what may be my all-time favourite summer.

Glad you managed to get in for one of the nights. Keen to hear more on your experience.

I managed to get a last minute ticket for Sunday, was over in NY for work this weekend.

We unfortunately had restricted view tickets, which were restricted view tickets 😞 Sound tent was at the height to block most of the band on the stage.

Nevertheless we still had a great time and watched it on the screen. It was a good atmosphere and everyone around us was involved and singing their hearts out.

I would say it didn't feel as euphoric as the Cardiff or London shows I went too, could be my blocked view or the fact I had seen them a few times before on this tour, so the same songs the third time around loose their edge slightly.

I left thinking they sounded so much better than when I followed them in the 00's and they will put on a decent show if the band continue touring over the next few years, but those UK 2025 summer shows are going to be hard to beat!

Did NJ night two. Crowd were into it but not like the UK. Better set than night one in Cardiff, much more relaxed and fun on stage I think. Really enjoyed it, and we got the fireworks we’d missed initially. Screens a bit lacking but hey ho.

3 cans were just over $50! Ah well ….IMG_1323.thumb.jpeg.08784131268a73b4a114aa6b3f3bd92e.jpeg

Sofi is worse than that cause it goes underground and then goes up. Rose Bowl will be nice since its a giant oval and only 2 levels.

Just back from a 5 night stay in New York and managed to get to both gigs at the MetLife. Had tickets for the Sunday when they first went on sale in block 330 up in the gods, row 24 out of 26. Was a superb show and to see all the crowd in your vision and the fireworks at the end made it special. Had to teach a few in our block how to do the Poznan and there were a few sat on their phones all gig until Wonderwall came on but the vast majority sang their hearts out. Went to Redds until 2am afterwards as it was carnage getting a train or any chance of an Uber back to Manhattan, they wanted $90 straight after. It dropped to $28 at 2am. Rudy's bar until 4am after that. Tremendous

Monday I didn't think we were going but struck lucky as a friend sorted us out two front standing so made it even more special being that close to it all. Band and Liam sound incredible, you can tell he's been on best behaviour and not going out drinking, as good as I've heard him since the late 90's. Sunday was the 39th time I'd seen them so it was rude not to make it to 40. Redds again after where they had ran out of draft beers as the Oasis fans had drank them dry. Both Cardiff, 2nd night in Manchester and both nights in New Jersey done on this tour. If I can get a Wembley I will to take my lad again but I'm pretty sure they will be back in 2026.

I'll be surprised if they go back to the US any time soon after these shows despite the reception, in part because I'm not sure what other markets would make financial sense if they are sticking to stadiums. Perhaps a Boston and Seattle/Vancouver stand?

coachella makes all the financial sense. they just have to show up. main stage mimics their current production. you state these are their only 2 north american shows for 2026.

Coachella would be strange given the whole aesthetic conflict between band's reunion identity and festival's current shape - but then, if it's a shedload of money, they probably wouldn't care.

Coachella would be nowhere near what the gigs people paid for will be, the crowd will be a lot more subdued and the America or even North America gigs didn't exactly have a loud crowd. I mean people not knowing what the Poznan is at an Oasis gig reaks of we went just because.

Nothing about getting Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, Tyler, Post Malone, Lady Gaga, Travis Scott and Green Day says Oasis.

They will grab Olivia this time though, finally after everyone else.

    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.
