Howdy, despite being somewhere over Canada, got through pretty early but...hit a snag. Don't use Firefox at all usually (so unfamiliar with settings), but did for the sale and whenever I put our reg numbers in, it got stuck on this (got through on about 6 different sessions, each ran in to the same problem). Anyone have any idea how to get rid of this before the general sale on Sunday! Pressing cancel or resend didn't do anything...on one of the sessions it went away for a split second, but came straight back. Rather frustrating to be in the site (this was about 18.05) but not able to proceed past putting reg numbers in!

I got in fairly quickly and selected the departure town and put all card details in but wouldn't process payment! Said order was processing and to click continue but wouldn't go any further!

Anyone else have this? Just off to hurl myself out the window!

At this stage I would have taken a Friday to Sunday ticket. I tactically went for Thursday to give me more chance and @Crazyfool01 introduced me to the idea going from Taunton, even though I'm from Manchester!

Yes it's been my lucky way of doing this. I've been successful 3 times in the resale from here.

Commiserations first.  Secondly don't beat yourself up over the tech stuff.  With the new queuing system there is no simple way to 'get around' it, and pretty much the only way to get a better chance is to have as many devices and queue sessions as possible each with a separate queue position.

 

Seen it mentioned last year, and anecdotal evidence today bears it out, that there looks to be about a 1 in 40 chance of getting a booking page.  Not great odds admittedly but if you have 4 devices then that drops to 1 in 10, and if 2 of you have 4 devices each then you're down to 1 in 5.  For the main sale where you can buy 6 tickets you'd only need 6 people with 7 devices (or 7 sessions) each to be in with a pretty good chance.  And this isn't fixed either....you could always get lucky with less, or even a single device.

 

Keep positive, get some mates, family, children etc each with a couple of devices and go again on Sunday.

Managed to nab one return coach ticket from Glasgow.  Couldn’t believe my eyes when the green bars on my phone started going up and everything else was stuck on the two green bars of doom! Absolutely buzzing now. Can only imagine the coach for that distance will

be interesting! 😂

With my 2 mates they got in around 5 mins after both departure day messages had shown as sold out and kept going through the locations and refreshing for any failed payments then Birmingham Thursday popped up for purchase. They are buzzing !!

Fortunately I’m from Glasgow- I was bracing myself for availability and where I would be prepared to drive to to catch a coach (may well have done Truro if I had to!). Got in early And there seemed to be decent availability, but probably helped that I was only looking for one ticket.

Tried Wednesday, lucky I had my list of departure points already prepped and worked through them quickly and determined nothing was available. Quickly switched to Thursday and got my first choice departure point.

Ooof interested to know how that goes! I've thought about getting the overnight coach down before, but you really need to ensure you can sleep well on a bus!

I also got coach tickets from Taunton. Although I’m not far from Bristol so slightly easier for me. Every other coach option I checked was sold out when I got through
