THAT Oasis rumour

Now obviously this does the rounds every year, but this is the most convincing news I’ve ever heard for them headlining. My nephew works for Soho House and recently a booking came through at Babington House from Oasis’ management hiring out the whole thing over the Glasto weekend. Specifically asking for Liam and Noel’s families to be accommodated entire floors.

Noel goes every year regardless of whether he is playing so not sure that means anything

Having said that, I was told by somebody in the industry a few months ago, when I asked about Liam's DM tour before it was announced, that "He has bigger fish to fry" next year... But honestly I think he was pulling my leg

No chance this year as Liam is doing his solo tour up until the Friday of the festival.
I think the financial hit of Noel’s divorce will only add fuel to the fire of them getting back together - can certainly see it for 2025

So Liam and his DM tour runs up until the Thursday 27th, when he plays Manchester. Not sure why that rules him out from playing Sat/Sun … makes it more likely if anything?

Still almost 0 chance it happens of course

If Noel needs money after the divorce surely they'd be announcing a stadium tour rather than taking peanuts to play at Glastonbury? I can see them doing it at some point after a tour but not the other way round.

Even if it was a car crash, a Glastonbury set from Liam Gallagher with a Noel Gallagher encore on a Sunday would go down in British folklore.

this. They will take the biggest fee events first, i.e. 2 nights at stadiums etc.  Perhaps a Glasto at the end of the whole tour as a farewell.

Even post his divorce he's still rich as Croesus.  He won't need to reform Oasis just to pay his bills.

Extremely unlikely let’s be honest. What’s this info about having requested separate floors for Liam and Noel? Seems kinda specific.

Would imagine it’s just for their kids & entourage if anything tbh

Glasto won't affect sales apart from in a positive way. Announce tour on the Pyramid.

Sure. Play THE most sought after reunion gig on THE most iconic stage of the world closing THE most iconic festival of the world with ZERO rehearsel just a day after you played your own gig? How are the odds?
