Now is your chance to set up a treasure hunt for your bin or just take a brilliant picture alongside your own piece of the festival.  The man himself , Dan, is once again organizing a limited number of bins to be painted in a design of your choosing, the only bins on site where wording is allowed and encouraged (providing its decent :-)) . Hi there, I ain't on X or socials at all but really want to baggsy a bin as a memorial for a chap who passed away at Glastonbury last year. Glynn was a WaterAid veteran volunteer and passed away at Worthy Farm on the day before the gates opened. It was very sad at the time and still is.

 

Alex has already been in contact about this with you guys. Is there a way I can baggsy a bin through t'internet without using X?

dans on instagram .... was just trying to figure out a way of how to split the charity Money as we speak .... just giving doesnt seem to allow a split .... so I will get back to him and see if he can think of a way to work it

Hi mate, thanks, I was just about to message you so thanks. I can reach out to WaterAid staff straight away if you need me to about contributions from the many many WaterAid volunteers and how best to set that up at their end so Dan gets plenty of support also for the designated charity. I appreciate this may be a bit complex to set up

So as per @Jay Pee post above we have setup a charity fundraiser in memory of Glynn and will be collecting for both the bin painters Charity .... Care international and wateraid , we have already secured the bin so any fundraising will be split between the two charities above . Glynn was an amazing guy massively dedicated to the wateraid cause and to helping people generally ( myself definately included in that ) if anyone wishes to donate id really appreciate it , im not paid on here so any donations would happily cover some of my time here . Please also share if you can among volunteer groups Glynn was a massive contributor amongst volunteers .

Just remembered I donated to this last year, but not enough to gurantee a bin would be painted for me.

 

When would we find out whether we need to submit a design and if the guys will have time to paint one for us?

@Funkyfairy! any ideas ? .... from memory they guarantee one if you donate the minimum amount , they are done in the painters spare time

All charity bins were completed last year even when below the minimum amount pledged  - did you find yours last year ? What was it - PM me if you want and I’ll see if I can find a picture of it 

 

we try to paint all of them - we really do - it’s just that any over the minimum amount are guaranteed and a picture taken / posted on dans instagram page etx and will take priority
