They still use it... I've seen it on there in the last week or so!

Did anybody watch the whole of the meeting last night?

Anything of note to report?

This is an interesting comment about current ownership changes.

I expect that the farm is being put into trust so that it outside the scope for inheritance tax, in fact I would say that would have bene done years ago.

This could be because of Live Nations involvement again - Melvin Benn was added as a Director again at the end of 2021.

Melvin is new.

Live Nation is not.

Paul Latham, one of Melvins bosses at LN:UK, was a for the past 10 years or so.

I think this is all about Michael being old and nothing to do with Melvin. It's not about changes to management, it's changes to ownership - and there is a good chance that the main owner of the land is going to change in the not too distant future. He's going to be 90 in 2025. He's old.

Do we even know if he's still actually the owner? Seems like something they might have wanted to move to at least joint ownership of given the inheritance tax implications.

Good point, I've no idea. There appear to be at least three different companies involved in the festival according to companies house and whilst there were some documents about shares, I couldn't work out the ownership from them.

Michael owns Worthy Farm outright, and therefore most of the land inside the fence (more on the Eastern side).

Finn Christensen, who's only a couple years younger than Michael, owns most of the rest of the core land used (not certain but I believe it broadly comprises much of the western camping fields inside the fence, and some of the ones just outside).

So to be blunt about it - the idea that one or both of those might change in the foreseeable future is quite realistic.
