The fact that he DIDN'T play Marea on that boiler room set speaks volumes. His biggest track and he didn't even need to drop it for a set that will go down as legendary.

Sold out Wembley Arena and a full UK tour before the album was even released, so he's probably good shout for headliner at this point. This album will absolutely get a Mercury nod too.

Went to watch Level 42 in my hometown of Torquay last night and what a show it was too. First time I’ve seen them since the early 90’s.

90 minutes of non stop bangers. Would love to see them back at the farm.

I'd be surprised if Loyle Carner doesn't feature prominently. Particularly given his secret set last year in the Rabbit Hole. Rightly so as well.

Loyle Carner and Young Fathers must be in the running.  I'd also be surprised if Rosalia and Sudan Archives don't feature given they're active and around.  I know they usually try to get a legendary funk/soul/disco act in the running but I'm at a loss to think who may be eligible this year.  Smokey Robinson maybe?
