Arctic Monkeys - Imagine Dragons

Calvin Harris - ?

Dua Lipa - Billie Eilish

Justin Bieber - ?

Kings Of Leon - ?

Tame Impala  - Florence + The Machine

I think the list could look like this, we're probably getting 3 already named headliners + DJ in the first announcement?

I think...you better stay on the ground...it´s every year like now in the forum.

The expectations are growing and at the end...everybody here in the forum is dissapointed.

It´s my first time in the last 15 years that I did not book my early bird, because my hopes were

dying last year, after a lot of weak szigets the last 5 or 6 times.

Yes, sziget is not only the music, but in 2022 everything wasn´t good. After the owner-switch of

the festival...the music is getting more & more comercial and boring.

So...don´t expect too much.

Believe me - I would love to see a brilliant lineup, and if they present it...I buy my tickets for me and my bro´s.

My fear, if it is Imagine Dragons, is that they've paid them a lot of money which will affect the calibre of other headliners. In the UK at least they have somehow become a band the now plays smaller stadiums. Capacity circa 30 - 40,000. This would put them, I suspect at a higher pay bracket than Kings of Leon and Tame Impala.

Imagine Dragons would be taking the KoL slot ie a smaller rock act. nowhere near the size of AM

I am not sure they would be that expensive, they would be lucky to fill arena's in most of Europe and a poor headliner. Probably one of the quiet nights like Tama.

So we have them and Billie, not my cup of tea but hopefully we have Sam Fender, Foals and another few good subs.

I am still going with SHM as the DJ act.

Leaked Primavera Sound lineup, so... Blur has another date on their tour and I see some other interesting names on here 👀

not a leak but fanmade, right from the PS forum in here - still it's based on rumours so all names are kinda likely to happen

I cannot imagine that Imagine Dragons are somehow expensive in comparison to other bands which were there last year.

I can imagine that Kings of Leon for example are more expensive than ID.

While Im not very happy about them, they are not that bad live.

Could have been worse, Major Laser for example 🙂

Bieber on the other hand had to be super expensive, maybe they will lower the costs by inviting someone less popular as pop headliner. Plus they will have more budget as Volt was cancelled. I think we are going to be okay next year, wouldnt be too worried about that.

Edit: it might be fake

just realized no one has really made any mention of a rap/r&b act. last year was the first really without one in a while, so maybe they will go back to having one

I seem ID about 8 years ago in a venue with less than 2000, so well done to them and they were good but still no Blur or AM. Would Pulp be in with a shout?

My point was that they will not cost the same as AM or Beiber.

Hopefully there is plenty cash left over for some top names and subs

    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
