  1. Well here goes for my bit. I thought the AM blew me away and my highlight to the week. Calvin, Lewis, Milky Chance, Fontaine's, siigrid and Bastille were all great. Dua was decent it was just far too busy. Nokia mimmed most off her set and I seem a few others but nothing stuck out. I was gutted Sam Fender and Giant Rooks never played as I had been listening to them lots. Justin was boring and I left after 5 songs to go into town. Tami Impala sounded okay but it's not for me. The last night was the best AM and fontains and it also seemed quiet for such a good line up. The dust was horrific, it really was a health issue and I have been struggling to breath, the food was fine but covered in dust. The set up was fine for me and I normally get the boat so disappointed when the bridge was not done but if it gets a better band I am happy with it. Not sure I will be back and I will see what the line up is like. I am never sure saving 100 quid is worth the early bird tickets
  2. That was so much better last night, you could get a drink, walk about and piss where there was space. Nothing on I want to see today but the kids are buzzing for Justin.
  3. They had no one on in the tent so everyone was going to see her. Bad planning and they seemed to have narrowed the main stage as well. Very busy but milky chance were brilliant, meet one off the twins watching dua lipa and both were good. Overall a good day.
  4. I was not sure you can pay by card thought it was all wrists bands
  5. They pulled out weeks ago? Artic Monkeys play tonight so you will get a clue off the set list they will play.
  6. Any beer price lists up yet or is that going to be the big shock. That's normally up by now. When does the tran stop from the airport
  7. I can't remember any places that did not take cards. I have taken 180 sterling into huff but that's more than enough for 3 of us. Maybe taxis or some pubs but the ruin pubs/restaurants and shops I was in were using cards and that was 3 bloody years ago πŸ˜…
  8. Has anyone managed to get the App working
  9. Margarte Island baths is about 6 quid with the rates. Not much to it but perfect for lying about and a swim. The big baths which I would strongly recommend is 30 euros so again depends what your plans are Stan . . I would also recommend going into town one night before or after who you want to see and take In the ruins pubs.
  10. I got the pass as it gets you a free shot in a bath but with the exchange rates and unless your using the boat on a regular basis as I will be I am not sure it's worth it. .the rail card pass thing is about 20 euros. You can't use the boat and you need to get from the airport to where ever so it all depends on what your doing how long your staying. I only got one as everyone else has and they are getting the boat every day. If I was myself I would not get it, also where are you staying
  11. The busy night are the so called mega stars like Ed Sheeran and that then it's the ones that will attract the younger crowds who flock to it. I don't like the line up as I am older and would love to see more older bands but my kids can't wait to see the headliners and love the line up. Also it's not happened for a few years so maybe people are catching up with gigs and festivals Dua, Justin and Calvin will probably be the busiest nights. Give me Monday any day ☺️
  12. We just had a group chat on who to see. There is not much in the Tents for me and pretty disappointed in the line-up for more older bands, I remember seeing a few in the tent and a few others last thing and they were great. Wednesday- Rufus De soul -Dua Lipa Thursday – Rocks, Alice Merton, Bastille, KOL. Friday – Not a thing but everyone wants to see Justin:☹ Possibly Jungle but hopefully a night out in Budapest Saturday – Lewis and Calvin, must be a Scottish thing 😊 Sunday - Sigrid, anne-marie and Steve Akoi- not sure what I am going to do for 5 hours between them Monday - inhaler, Holly Humberstone, sam fender, arctic monkeys, fontaines and Elrow Tuesday- Have depression for a week and then remind myself how great it all was I have tried rufus and theysound good, so do rocks the first day at 5:00pm, With 4 weeks to go I am just glad it looks like its all happening
  13. In our 50s and we will be there so maybe not πŸ™‚
  14. I dont want Justin but I think he will be a huge miss as they will not replace him with anyone decent and they will bump folk up. 1000 would be a decent price thats about Β£2.15 according to Google
  15. Well according to insta that's the line up full. I thought a few extra bands could have been added but as time went on I was not sure and it's been confirmed that's the line up full. I had a look and I can't see anything about Justin being confirmed for Europe from his team
  16. where did you get this. As for taken a guess at a replacement headliner I think there is little to no chance that the likes off metalica will replace Justin. If they do anything it will be another Pop act or as has been mentioned putting a new sub in and that would make more sense.
  17. https://welovebudapest.com/en/article/2021/6/16/budapest-the-chain-bridge-closes-for-18-months-boats-now-serve-the-two-riverbanks Boat will take you over or the person above has a good route
  18. From my apartment it is 4.1 miles there and 10 miles back after 12 pints πŸ™‚ Maybe half that distance from the Island
  19. never walk its about 5 miles away. I have never bothered with a Taxi. The Boat takes 30 mins and the train about 15 mins. They both stop at the entry points and there is never much of a wait at Either apart from the first day. It will depend where on the Island you are staying. If you are at the south and have a city pass I would get the boat its so much more relaxing. The Train is also close enough. If you are nearer the north off the Island I would look into this as you maybe better getting a local bus. Also it will depend if you have a city pass as the boat costs more. Have a look into the buses
  20. It can get busy going from the tent to the main stage when the acts have finished but that just tends to be the busy nights and if there is anyone decent in the tent. Apart from that it's very well controlled . Going in the first day can be busy over the bridge but that's about it The bars are fine, the only time you wait is when the main act is on but even then it's not to bad. You pay be your wrist band so no waiting on change etc your lucky if you have to wait behind 1 or 2 folk. Leaving at night is fine and depends how your going home there is a wait for the boat but nothing huge There are plenty bars about. The only thing I would say Is.watch what you eat for the dust. Also get there early the first day to get your wrist band etc as that's the only busy day
  21. Thanks for this, I did think they may add a few names but as time goes by I am not sure the names will be anything to get excited about but I live in hope.
  22. I assume they will have plans in place and had talks with management companies. I am pretty confident he will be there Where did they say that's the line up filled?
  23. Say what you want Justin is huge and there are not many that will fill it like him. Cant be bothered myself but its a long way off and anyone could pull out with covid cases rising and anything happening I thought a few acts would be getting added at this point but the poster looks like it could be full and I am less optimistic that anyone classed as a larger act extra will be added. It may depend on Ticket sales and what dates are sold out or nearly full. I am not sure how many extra UK/IRE/US acts would bring non locals as most folk with have the flights, accommodation all booked so they may look at acts that appeal locally or to this area off Europe.
