yeah I was thinking the same. last year with Ofenbach, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Elrow, and more. this year does seem a bit disappointing. still excited for Tale of Us and Vintage Culture, though

This might be a hot take, but I really do not care who is playing at Sziget. whoever they book will be plenty of fun because the vibe of people at Sziget is sooo good. Far better than any other festival I've been to yeah I think the headliners kinda suck, but no way im going a year without Sziget. its an incredible festival and I don't get anything like it in America except for maybe Bonnaroo.

Is Sziget really going to book only one DJ to play at the MainStage like last year? Seems odd considering how big of a hit Calvin Harris was. Like Robin Schulz for example, he is big enough to sub Guetta or to sub someone else, but I doubt they would do that. Alan Walker definitely should not have been at the party tent and should have been at the MainStage considering his drawing, but idk

looking back, I actually LOVED the 2022 lineup. some of my favorites performed and I got to find some amazing new bands and acts. under appreciated lineup for sure

Untold Festival just hinted at Sam Smith. He seems like a very Sziget booking

they will be soon. I think in probably a few weeks but I could be wrong. and no they do not sell out quick so do not worry

I hear a lot on here that Sziget goes for a lot of British acts because of the large brit population attending. seems to make sense, but why travel all the way to Budapest to see someone from your own nation? like I'm from New York, and if a bunch of NY bands/artists were playing in a European city, I am not sure I would be anymore enticed to go than if some European bands/artists were playing. Anyone get what I'm saying?

just realized no one has really made any mention of a rap/r&b act. last year was the first really without one in a while, so maybe they will go back to having one

I think Tiesto is unlikely in all honesty. David Guetta I think is the most likely, but why not DV&LM? They're big enough. is Zedd big enough anymore? or maybe Hardwell too but not sure he reaches a wide enough audience.

What about the headline DJ? I think its either Martin Garrix, DV&LM, Armin Van Buuren, or most likely (sadly) in my opinion, David Guetta. Longshots maybe The Chainsmokers, Harwell, Alok, Zedd, SHM...
