I was so busy following the Pulp DRAMA that I nearly posted this in the TBA thread. That would have given people a shock!

Anyway, it's the PENULTIMATE 18Z. Let's see what's in store.

TUESDAY

Still showing the nasty rain hitting the site from midnight until 6am. It will be interesting to see what it gets....

Only a small amount of rain during the day on Tuesday, so good for drying with temps of 21.

WEDNESDAY

Dry when gates open with temps of 19.

Still showing the possibility of some very, very, very light showers in the PM - but nothing of note whatsoever and Glasto might even not be in the range of the rain. Highs of 21.

Overnight temps into Thursday: 13-14

THURSDAY

Completely dry, highs of 22-23.

The light rain in this run is further away from the site.

Overnight temps into Friday: 12-13

FRIDAY

Completely dry, highs of 19-20.

Overnight temps into Saturday: 15-16

SATURDAY

Completely dry, highs of 23-24.

Overnight temps into Sunday:  

SUNDAY

Completely dry, highs of 25-26.

Temps through Elton are still up at 22-23 -- a little cooler than previous runs!

Overnight temps into Monday: 15.

SUMMARY!

Another absolutely fantastic run.

Let's see what the morning brings with the rainfall....

Currently sat on grass in acoustic crew bar. Wearing no jumper as my sunburn from 8 hour shift on blue route gate acting as internal heater. Worrying slightly about double rain symbols on bbc weather app overnight but hopeful all the weather experts here will say bbc uses pants models and it will all be fine

Well it’s on its way in and it looks pretty heavy.  Showers at first followed by a spell of heavy rain by the looks.   Should hit the site about 00.45 by my reckoning… no thunder associated with it as of yet.   Doesn’t look TOO substantial yet but they could be famous last words….

More than drizzle now

Doesn’t matter in the slightest. This is all forecast, and due to stop in the early morning.

Yep, now I'd call it rain.

Still confident it will be fine and relieved it waited till I was back at my tent before raining hard.

It’s raining quite heavily now, woke me up! 
 

Edit: expect it will cause some issues getting into the CV Fields this morning. It’s not torrential but it’s now continuous substantial rain.

Looks like it’s due to stop by 8am. As long as it drains into the cracks quickly I think we’ll be fine.

It’ll be fine. I would imagine they’ll be areas of pooled water but that will drain away or dry before gates open. If the ground was already sodden then we’d be in big bother.
