I wish they were more sensible with the colours, that colour is still indicating only 10 - 15mm, it won't affect the ground too much, but a bit sh*t for those arriving earlier. 😕

THROUGH TO GATES OPENING

Another marked reduction in the Sunday rain! Now barely anything significant hitting the site.

It does now show some heavy rain overnight into Tuesday, but the good thing is it leaves a full day of drying temps (with small showers). Better to have that rain overnight and then the sun and warmth can do its job - temps of 21 on Tuesday will dry everything up.

On Wednesday at 9am, it's totally dry with temps of 19 - slightly higher than previous runs.

Wednesday itself is completely dry - that's an upgrade - with highs of 22.

THURSDAY

Completely dry, highs of 22.

FRIDAY

Completely dry, highs of 22.

And the rain on this run is far further north and not at all threatening.

SATURDAY

Completely dry, highs of 23-24.

 

SUNDAY

Completely dry, highs of 25-27.

 

SUMMARY

Wow. Just wow. The best run yet.

There might be the threat of heavy overnight rain into Tuesday, but that would all be dried up during the day, where there's only small showers. Then it's dry and warm for the WHOLE FESTIVAL and a scorchio Sunday.

Sooo... We're looking at a total rainfall of 26-35mm Between now and Wednesday. It's a fair bit, not great, but this won't be the actual amount that is indicated on the ground in this heat, and it doesn't seem to ever come down too heavy. The Ram Jam Jar will be fine, and so will the ground. Sorry for the early arrivals though 😕

Look at those temps build towards Sunday. Sunday may be a a challenging one, but it's only one day, BRING IT ON! Night time temps decent too 🙂
