That festival is a big deal, is it? 

Ray Davies headlined Acoustic in 2009. I'd suggest they're comparable in size.

Either way, Acoustic Tent at night or sunny afternoon on the Pyramid, I'm in.

Yeah, I was there. Wasn't uncomfortably rammed but I was right inside. He was up against Neil Young IIRC

I remember watching the Ray Davies set on TV and wishing I was there with all my heart.  Would love him to be there again, any stage, any time, I would be there.

I think it would be better to not have the slot at all rather than get an underwhelming booking. 

They've kind of painted themselves into a corner with this slot.

I dunno. There still seem to be a good number of options.  If one year the stars don't quite align it doesn't necessarily mean anything's gone wrong or that they've been too ambitious. I'd rather they shoot for the moon then never have bothered in the first place.

Spice girls would’ve made zero sense at the height of their fame, they simply would never have been booked. Spice girls make more sense the more time elapses.
