What’s better drama for my buck:

Option A: Stay up till 3am

Option B: Start at 3am

Option B, that’s what I’m doing. Probably get up at 2am though. A few of us are doing that. Join #teamallnight

Best of luck.

Incidentally, I always think of these when I see your user name, did you ever see Punk's Not Dad at Glastonbury?

Cheers.

Nope, never even knew they existed. Just checked them out on YouTube on the bandstand in 2010 - looked like good fun.

I won't be staying up as I have my 2nd heart operation early Thursday morning, so I need my sleep. Not sure which I fear most: dying on the operating table or 4 more years of Trump! 😄

Just checking - have you previously had a heart operation or are you a time lord?

It's true...

But it's a little more complicated.

I don’t think that shows Trump is taking Florida, it just shows registered votes by parties. It’s far too early to be calling states, they’ve just started counting votes.

So...when 🙏 Trump loses how do you think he'll take it and what do you think he'll say?

If it's a big loss I actually think he might be gracious in defeat. If it's tight...who knows. He's probably got a career in tv afterwards anyway, carry on his bollocks. He'll blame the china virus I expect.

I have a feeling a lot of this is for show and if it’s a big loss he’ll accept it but claim everyone was against him.

He'll have his plane ready on the runway and will be playing golf in Scotland tomorrow.

Don’t get me wrong I hope Trump loses and it’s interesting to follow. But getting seriously emotionally invested is weird.

Well, it's not really. It has huge ramifications on our own country, trade, our political climate, as well as wider reaching issues like climate change, LGBTQI+ rights, human rights, arts and culture. These things don't exist in a vacuum.

    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
