I watched 7 minutes and thought Nah so caught last 5 mims of Cooper Clarke then wandered around an empty Shangri-la!

I had to check the poster!

Goldfrapp west holts then Metronomy on the park

both were so quiet we got to stand at the front of the stage (on the side)

The problem with Billie Eilish is that she dozed off during her set last year and also she’s still gonna be touring that album with the title that can only be read in Philomena Cunk’s voice.

It just feels too early. 2 more albums and it will be a party. AM did it too early first Time around and it would be similar.

Sounds to me like she will be touring a new album next summer https://www.nme.com/news/music/new-billie-eilish-album-wont-be-released-during-the-pandemic-finneas-says-2752840

‘Stop. What the hell are you talking about?

Get her pretty name out of your mouth!’

Perhaps. Releasing a new album before a sold-out tour seems ass-backwards to me and I doubt she will but stranger things have happened at sea.

Her name is not pretty. I would go as far as to say she has an ugly name.

If she wasn’t booked for a sub position in 2020 then I really doubt they’ve managed to get her for 2021 now that she’s the biggest star in the world. I don’t think she’ll be there - maybe 2022 when she has a new album out.

Bigger than Taylor?

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
