vardyvarvar
Make sure you are taking on enough water. There’s refill options literally everywhere. If you can drink a water in between each alcoholic bev you’ll feel much better (but still not great) the following morning.

Managed not to get so off my face that I ruin the next day? Ah, step up MrsC. The love of my life, soulmate and glasto companion is tee total and doesn't smoke. She ensures we get back to the correct tent and monitors my alcohol consumption. Of course in return for this the deal is that she decides 50% of the bands we see and areas we visit. This has meant seeing Coldplay , which if truth be known I actually really enjoyed, and this year making a complete arse of myself in glasto Latino . God knows what she has in store for me this year!

The refreshers one is more noticeably vodka-based, so it didn't go as quickly. The werthers one is like drinking a milkshake and it was absolutely lethal This sounds rather appealing. How many Werthers would you recommend to be put in a bottle?

If I remember right I think it was about a bag and a half to a 70cl bottle. Again, do it it in stages until you get a flavour you like. Bonus is no need to filter as they completely dissolve, so no sediment like you get with the Refreshers.

Cooter
Has anyone mentioned the steam power little boats stall yet? I've found myself here a few times thinking about stuff and staring at the little boats and the beautiful views over the festival.

I think it was @noplacelikehome that brought some friends to meet "the people off the internet" and I ended up feeding them werthers vodka, refreshers vodka and my rum & ginger. I think I gave them a choice "Is it normal to take drinks from strangers at festivals?" "Yes it is. Now shush and drink from this unmarked bottle in my rucksack" It was my friends! They loved it ? You also tried some of my cherry Bakewell and said it had" a touch of the benylin" about it - wont be using that cheap amaretto again ? must try harder next year

Was their first Glasto right? Was lovely how genuinely surprised they seemed to be that everyone's so free with sharing their booze, always nice seeing through a newbie's eyes

K2SO
I may be wrong on the exact location, but I think it is opposite the Bread + Roses Bar, on the way to The Other Stage, from the Pyramid. There's a stall there that sells slush puppies for like £2 each for a big cup. On a hot day, go for one of them. Not only are they cold and refreshing, but cheap and the staff were really nice! Honestly my favourite discovery of 2019's festival.

But. Possibly. No. Last couple of times I went by car I got (kind of made to) park miles away from even the nearest entrance gate, let alone near where I wanted to be. Ruined me physically doing just two trips in that heat those times. Exhausted before it started. Then repeat in reverse on Monday? Sod that again. I'm getting on. My bones are old and my knees are knackered etc... Travel light and then buy what it used to be necessary to bring that was heavy from the Co-Op (Personally, that's at least a 3ltr bottle of mixer, a big box of individual Capri-Suns, a six pack of Lucozade Orange, etc., that I don't have to do two trips for any more). Possibly a game changer that Co -Op. If you only do one thing at Glastonbury? Travel light (Disclaimer: I will still probably end up bringing too much). Last year I ran out of mixer so thought it would be a brilliant idea to put a couple of raspberry laces from a sweets stall in 50cl of vodka. It did not dissolve, it went quite lumpy and it tasted much worse than straight vodka. So if you do one thing at glasto, don't do that
