This was the first record I ever owned. Bought by my parents at Woolworths for me with their own hard earned cash. Bless them for that.

It is reputedly about Marijuana, the thought never occurred to me at the time, obviously, but it may explain a lot in hindsight.

Still like it.

For what it's worth best Pixar is Wall-e and Toy Story 2 is the most under rated in the series.

Nah, Toy Story 2 is just straight up the best pixar film closely followed by Monsters Inc.

And Up is soooo overrated. Yes, a heartbreaking opening, but by halfway we're watching a bunch of talking dogs.

True, but that montage at the start is the single greatest section in all of Disney's and Pixar's oeuvre.

Well, the first act raised the bar in terms of emotion and character realism, and in a way sets us up for a film we don't actually get. Too much bathos.

Was thinking about this earlier and have concluded that the Killers’ headline set this year knocks Macca out of third place in my all time top three headline sets. Blur and Adele unchallenged.

I love a bit if ABBA. I've seen Bjorn Again every time they've played Glastonbury and am partial to watching Mamma Mia when I'm a bit pissed. I've seen the stage show too (I was then more than a bit pissed). It was a lot of fun and  most of the tunes are bulletproof.

Agreed - Singing in the Rain the West End was sublime. Young Frankenstein was absolutely hilarious with some great songs. Enjoyed Book of Mormon last weekend too.

Oh definitely.  Puts people straight into "oh it's only a cartoon for kids" mindset.  Bizarre really.

If you've not seen it, the one I'd put up to rival it from a comic book perspective is Ninja Batman. Watched it at the weekend on Netflix, bloody wonderful stuff.

Surprisingly not, the tone has been respectful. We did take a bit of a detour to talk animated films for a bit though.
