Strummerville

Still only Thursday listed for Strummerville.  I usually like to take in a couple of acts up there since I discovered it as I love the vibe up there  With my knowledge of music, had hoped to be able to listen to a few of the acts beforehand.  I am right in thinking that they usually announce the full line up beforehand aren't I (bar a few secret sets).  Does anyone know anything about when we'll know what's on?

Pretty sure in 2017 it was a very late announcement but they do have some good stuff up there.

Thanks.  I've now had a chance to refer to the Thingy and it is only mentioned once in 2016 ,when it was announced on 13 June.  So may have been included in the full line up announcement in other years?  I know I have plenty of other stuff to listen to but......

Is it mainly acoustic gigs at Strummerville? Hoping to watch Johnny Lloyd, think he’s same time as Tba’s in Williams Green, so hopefully won’t be too busy up there.

Very special guest = Frank Turner possibly? That would help alleviate the Williams Green crush massively and possibly reduce the crowd for Friday night at Avalon.

The secret acts are never entirely secret. Usually someone finds out at least a couple of hours before and with social media these days that's plenty of time for a crowd to arrive. Also, just the rumour that it could be him would be enough for people who have a clash on Friday night to take a chance on it.

I was looking forward to Tootard in Pussy Parlure on Thursday, but I really don't want to miss Frank Turner secret set at Strummerville if it happens. Sure it will at some point over the weekend whether it's Thursday or not.

I’ve never been to the wormhole, in fact, I’d never heard of it til I saw the line up from Mik Artistik!! I love the crows nest and Strummerville, but yes, you may need a breather half way up ?

Frank did strummervile in 2015 and said he loved it, he's friends with a few people that run it. Johnny Lloyd is also a friend of his/on the same label so it wouldn't surprise me if it was him. Will be up there to watch Johnny anyway.
