Don Broco was enough for me to want a ticket, I've just been skint for months

Not much of a fan of Broco myself and Sum 41 don't really do it for me so need another headliner to pull me in.
Saying that I'll end up buying a ticket regardless. 😂

Where did you hear about the Aaron West tour?

Can't say but apparently it's getting announced tomorrow and it's a smaller tour than the one in September. Guessing they'll be at Slam Dunk because there is no Leeds date and there is also that Slam Dunk announcement tomorrow

Think the Slam Dunk announcement is just rest of Jager stage isn't it? But might be wrong on this. Either way be great if Soupy pulls double duty, first Aaron West show I saw was at Slam Dunk several years back and would make a lot of sense with Wonder Years already being there.

Is it? I haven't seen anything to suggest that it is. SD social media have even said that there are more bands coming after announcing Sleeps which suggests to me that it's just a general announcement. I just think with their being an Aaron West tour and a Slam Dunk announcement tomorrow it just seems likely that at least there will be a solo show and hopefully a full band show.

Sorry re-reading their FB post it doesn't explicitly say that its just that stage, so could well be other bands. Last year I think they did continue doing a couple of stage by stage reveals around this time though.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
