Funny thing is, Gav comes up with THAT and the Netweather geeks are actually sounding confident warm weather could be here longer term. 

To summarise, Gav's talking crap and Netweather (apart from Wimbledon88) are fantastic people.

I ended up going to an emergency walk in centre today. What I thought to be just a sore throat deteriorated very quickly to the point where I couldn’t swallow and I thought my ears were going to explode. For about 45 minutes I was genuinely unsure whether I would be able to go to Glastonbury. I was so upset. 

It’s made me realise that I’m so lucky to be going and I couldn’t care whether it’s raining or sunny, muddy or dry! 

I feel ya, broke my collarbone 3 weeks ago and when I heard it snap my first thought was fuck, what if I can't go to glasto. Luckily it was a 'good' break and I'm on the mend, even if I am in a sling at least I can still go ?

J10 is knocking around in there preaching that 12Z doom run and rain. Fingers crossed matters swing the other way, cos if that run happens to become a pattern pissing down rain and 15 degrees ain’t gonna be much of a laugh.

I don't know what phrasing I hate most. "Mostly cloudy, rain ending" without specifying how long it had been raining for (presumably a lot for its end to be noteworthy) or "a shower, and then rain"

Fuck.

This was Gavs first forecast for Download and the IOW festival this weekend - shows how much things can change in 12 days! Didn't see any of this shite coming....

If you go into the details on accu, they actually don’t predict that much rain. It’s just being dramatic

I genuinely don't get J1's format this year. He starts with a generic outlook for the whole country, which seems to be a cut+paste job from somewhere else, followed by a few GFS charts and truncated analysis.

He used to include ECM as well as GFS and give much more analysis, without that weird general outlook at the start.

Have the proper Glastonbury forecasts started yet, or is this how they're structured now?
