With that lineup there’s no reason why it shouldn’t sell out.

Not so sure. It’s certainly a very strong line up for the crowd it appeals to, but these days I’m not sure that crowd is bigger than, say, the number of people who will have been interested in the Lorde/XX/Sampha/Justice day which ultimately failed to sell out last year. It being the Saturday - and by a distance the strongest day of APE announced so far - will certainly help, though.

Gutted that it’s on the same day as Slam Dunk North. Really awesome to see The Raconteurs back. I used to hammer Broken Boy Soldiers when I was in school.

Going Strokes on Saturday and Slam Dunk South on Sunday! Gonna be an awesome weekend.

I can’t see any of the days selling out this year tbh.

Only one that might sell out is the strokes day and even then it won’t be until a lot nearer the time. (We won’t have another wireless festival  happen where most of the tickets are sold within like an hour)

Presale link is here for anyone http://t.e-comms.allpointseastfestival.com/r/?id=hf8aac87,2646cfb,2646eb3&uk_et_cid=APE_5th_Announce_TSW1_APEDB_290119&uk_et_rid=1_1979549251750413

Got mine relatively easily - although it sneakily defaults to VIP tickets - beware - you have to play around a bit to get it to General Admission

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
