If we had FoB/Panic in 2018 and 21p in 2019, surely imagine dragons could happen to keep up that mediocre commercially friendly pop rock punk trend

Would bmth not fill that void? Or, dare I say, McR... 😄

btw I'm not comparing, Panic!, FoB and ToP to Bmth or McR...just similar fan bases

Mention them at your peril !  But yes, they would appeal to the same fan base

True actually, definitely not MCR though too old for that crowd I reckon (although it would probably do)

Biffy + BMTH, LG & RATM.

Can't see there being no hip hop. Biffy is kind of redundant on that lineup I feel - would be more well rounded to replace them with a hip hop name.

What about:

Eminem/LG/Strokes-Biffy or something along those lines. Also is it possible that the festivals all announcing together are announcing Biffy/Eminem and not RATM? Probably wouldn't have to wait and make a fuss for biffy but Eminem surely could warrant it?

Do we reckon we'll get stage splits or just headliners and around 10 others?

I reckon there will be day splits, not sure about stage splits they probably want to save that for after the initial rush so people book pre finding out about clashes etc (not that 99% of fans even check probably)

I think we will get a fair chunk of the lineup. Download announced stage splits in January and I'm expecting similar for R&L. Well, the Main Stage and R1 splits, anyway, with an 'Also appearing...' heading and a list of bands under it.

I'll make my final prediction after seeing Rock en Seine announcement. Though if Dan's right and there is no RATM:

The Strokes + BMTH / LG / Eminem

I would take it (or leave it)

Hopefully the R1 is good and Strokes close reading
