AAlex
CHVRCHES are at NOS Alive on the Friday but seem to be one of the only major acts not shared with Mad Cool (so far). I don't know how many major acts there are left for Mad Cool, surely not many, so if they haven't been booked for that there must be a reason, which could be Latitude... Looking at the Mad Cool line up, could Massive Attack be a contender? Maybe even Jack Johnson... Pretty sure the Massive Attack eden session shows are meant to be their only outdoor UK dates this year.
cdm22
Thom Yorke added to Sonar line up. Thats got to be a possibility after the secret set a few years ago. Edited January 23, 2018 by cdm22 sp

evannn
I’m hoping for a good electronic headliner in the 6music tent to oppose any dross headliner on mainstage. Bonobo or Four Tet for me please Can also imagine Editors and one of Everything Everything/St Vincent in the other tent slots

Jacko45
Missed Latitude last year, absolutely gutted but Lineup just wasn't for me, not even slightly. I love Latitude but since 2014 in my opinion the quality of music has decreased massively. Went in 2014, 2016 and its by far the friendliest atmosphere in the country for me. Praying this year they get some top quality back.
finn_with_1_n
If CHVRCHES aren't available for the Friday R+L Trial Run Slot, then who will it be? I assumed they'd only get away headlining this if they were on the Friday night
Amy Lawn
Got to be Chvurches hasn't it? They turned in a headline worthy set in 2016, should nail it this time.
johnl
Plan B is around. He could play as long as he picks an appropriate set list....
Hawky
Looking across European festivals in July there's still lots to be announced yet. Beni have only just had their line-up leaked. I'm sure it'll be fine. On Friday I'll look around and do a breakdown of who's around.

Nae chance of Depeche Mode and I think we've decided Snow Patrol are unlikely now but the rest are all probably decent shouts to be on the lineup somewhere, yeah. Tho I'm still of the mind Florence wouldn't do it.

That's a good point. I like Chvrches so wouldn't mind them to headline any night. Tbh I think a lot of bookers and journalists overestimated how popular Fleet Foxes would be in 2017. Headlining Latitude and failing to sell-out 2 nights in Brixton while Mac DeMarco and FJM easily could and they were at EOTR, is embarrassing for both FF and Latitude

Was surprised when they were announced.

Especially on Sunday following mumfords, I imagine lots of the campervan brigade were either in the 6music or travelling down the A12 by that point. Was a bit embarrassing when I turned up to see FF halfway through and eased my way to the front where my pals were

They were one of only 4 bands I saw during the weekend.

WMWMOfficial
I believe that if you are to look at the Dour Festival 2018 line-up in Belgium, plus the Bilbao BBK Live 2018 line up in Spain, that might be a good starting point to put your hopes on
WMWMOfficial
And oh my gosh, Justice and The Chemical Brothers have a MIGHTY chance of being there! I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they were announced! That would be a godsend to have either of them at Latitude Festival!
