"Really big secret"

I think Emily has made a huge mistake telling us there is a massive secret and then leaving it so long to say what it is.... the speculation is getting daft and it's going to end up a massive disappointment more than likely as the ideas get larger and larger. Bit like setting yourself up got a fall

And with that, I'm now setting myself up for The Fall. If they subbed before Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl would shit himself I reckon.

Better yet, The KLF and The Fall b2b set on a dual Other stage. All weekend.

A mate on site has just told me that the big surprise is that EVERYTHING released so far has been fake news !

In actual fact The KLF are going to play on every stage on every day for the entire duration of the festival !

I can't help but agree with lots of people that this big secret may all be a bit of an anti-climax. I hope to be proved wrong.

If i was a betting man I would lean more towards a new area rather than a surprise artist. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out.

If we all just agree that it's probably going to be a massive anti-climax then we'll either be pleasantly surprised if it's something amazing or we'll be prepared for the disappointment if it's not. It's a win-win strategy.

Get out of here with that negative shit. What we should be doing is heightening our expectations.

Personally I ait gonna be happy unless its a new stage and the line-up is the following:

Led Zeppelin

Pink Floyd

The Beatles - Paul and Ringo live with John and George as Holograms

Butthole Surfers

Guns and Roses

Hologram Krist Novoselic

Robert Johnson - back from the dead, Satan can send him up for the day and we'll give him Chris Martin in exchange

Elbow

We are on page 155 with less than 4 weeks until the festival. I think it's a bit late for "let's not get our hopes up too much"

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
