of course this is pure speculation, but I'm thinking something like

Pyr: U2 // Paolo Nutini

Oth: Vampire Weekend

Pyr: Arctic Monkeys // Stormzy

Oth: The Chemical Brothers

Pyr: Madonna // Queens of the Stone Age

Oth: Disclosure

It’s about time Arctic Monkeys played nothing pre-2008.

Nah, soz, there's literally nothing you can say about the Arctic Monkeys that will score you any indie points.

I might as well throw my hat into the ring as well then.

Can't be much worse than Wales' answer to Catfish and the Bottlemen.

I see Ozzy is saying his tour is going to last until 2020. I wonder if he could do the legends slot or 70's rock/Royal Blood slot either year?

I don't see him playing non-headline slots or accepting non-headline fees.

Stereophonics would maybe be a better other headliner than Pyramid? I don't think U2 would have any interest in doing it again, I get the feeling that like Metallica they did it once so they could cross it off their bucketlist and that's it. It's all about the money for those boys.

Arctic Monkeys and Kendrick seem like safe bets to me. Sam Smith would be an utterly dissapointing choice for headliner, I struggle to think of a more boring "musician".

The only slot Stereophonics could hope for is something like third down the Pyramid, but even that seems a reach after years of not being booked. Maybe they could also be the secret Other opener as to not take up a proper slot. They'd be ideal for that.

I'm not too convinced on U2 returning, although their last headline slot was far from a triumph so they may want to amend that.

Don't think Kendrick will be at Glastonbury for a long while. Reading/Leeds next year - possibly Glastonbury come the next album, although more likely further down the road.

Sam Smith seems like the obvious choice following on from Adele and Ed Sheeran, although he'd be a pretty shit choice aye.
