Are Major Lazer dancey? If so, I'd expect someone less dancey against Daft Punk.

I don't think Twenty One Pilots will play and if they were to, I doubt they'd get as high a slot as is commonly predicted. Their fanbase is really strong, no doubt, but they won't be getting an equivalent slot to what they would at R+L or Download; the two festivals that cater most to their fanbase and would probably swipe them on an exclusive because it's an easy sale off the back of their name.

Fuck me that Saturday on WH is fantastic - Where the hell has Hall & Oates come from though?

The Sunday pyramid is a very dull though - will there be anyone left awake if they are there through Lorde, Elbow and Sheeran?

I think Glass Animals would be a bit higher imo

It's one of the things I have a long held feeling about - which reminds me that I've omitted Jamiroquai!

And yeah it does seem like the Glastonbury equivalent of Jigglypuff's song but eh, people must like those acts if they're up there.

Other than headliners - cant find many faults with that lineup though. (obviousy I'm not fully aware of positions for a lot) - Loads of acts I'd like to see.

Change those headliners for the dream team and you're on to something in my eyes

Richard A isn't headlining JP, way too big. Jamie T is too low. I'd be surprised if C&S got Other header again, they could do JP now tbh. Robyn for The Park Friday please

You mean the tent is too big?

Lol, I think we both know that isn't true lol.

I do however think he'll be there, reckon Other sub/maybe headliner. He certainly that the name and extra song input to be able to headline it. Subbing The Roses would be awesome!

As for Richard Ashcroft, he got one of the most baffled responses. Playing a solo acoustic set, he struck a slightly unnerving note with his cropped hair and Edward Snowden T-shirt), ranting about "the Orwellian nightmare" that is our lives and berating other bands for being "fakers".

...and for that reason I'm all for yer man being put in a prime time slot in front of tens of thousands.

If ashcroft headlines the other stage I'll bake my ballbag into a quiche and stand there eating it while asking everyone 'how many corners do I have to turn?'

I almost want it to happen for you to do that. He sold out Manchester and London instantly, it's not as if no one took notice of his comeback album etc.

Richard Ashcroft is perfect for the Other Stage.

Northern, shit and famous for one song released back in the day? Got to be the Friday Secret Guest(s).

Would really love that, he will tour in South America this month but no Brazil, boohoo. Also The Verve looked pretty good headlining in 2008.

    • Set times are out on the app!    Couple of clashes on the Lorde & Deftones day for me but could be a lot worse!
    • I'd love Sam Fender but yeah I reckon he's too big, rumoured for Glastonbury as well I think.   I was thinking Wolf Alice, Blossoms, Phoebe Bridgers, Brandon Flowers, Lily Allen could all be Obelisk headliner shouts but honestly I'm struggling for names a bit. Would love CMAT but I think she said she's taking some time off. Maybe Jungle could be a shout but they've moved away from a dance headliner seemingly.
    • It was always going to be the cost. stuff like this:
    • Man/Woman/Chainsaw anyone? Still 4-5 secret sets to be filled.   New album out today and Rough Trade friendly.
    • can't edit, but just to add to the above:   i get that the last bit is meant to reinforce the message that they are all horrible people and closing ranks to cover up what has happened and carry on with their lives while poor Celeste is left alone with her trauma...   i get it thematically, i just really hated the way it was on screen and i say that my ending would have made for a better movie.   🙂
