of course, but i think everything i have noted is included in the O'Doyles Rules list but i will double check and also look through some other threads.

I imagine lists about beer would be your absolute favorite by a mile:)

Yeah, my name is a bit of a giveaway!  Having only been to V before Glastonbury it was such a relief to have decent beer rather than Carling crap!  And not to have to smuggle booze in in your wellies or down your trousers.  (Not to mention everything else of course).

Edit - that was badly phrased -  I don't mean smuggling everything else in in your trousers, I meant everything else about Glastonbury being so much better!

The bar overlooking the Park is Trickets bar. It had 3-5 ales and some cider too, plus cocktails, and there were new loos up there too. It's ideal for a bevy to then go back to the crow's nest.

The Ridge & Furrow Bar is the best I've been too in recent years.

Normally plays all motown/soul/funk on the times I've been, great little 'secret' cocktail bar hidden inside aswell

Where is that?

Anyone recommend a good bar for a decent pint of lager/beer? Tuborg is fucking terrible.

A decent amount of them (rough estimate - about a third, mostly the smaller ones) sell San Miguel.

The one in the Theatre Field had a range of continental lagers last year.

It's very easy to avoid Tubourg these days.

Really?  Blimey in 2014 I only found The Beat Hotel selling San Miguel.

Cornish arms sell it too...it's a pretty sad state of affairs when you fall on the discovery of San Miguel in a beer like finding the holy grail lol

I've always been intrigued by a bandstand type place off of the old train line but never been in, can anyone confirm if this is actually a bar? Has a garden party feel about it, lots of lights..

The Spike - shiny disco ball, does have a bar and some decent tunes :) finally made a visit last year at night as the shiny disco ball lights are fab!

Thanks for this, on my list for this year. Looks quite chilled out for an hour or two.

Is the Rum Shack still in the late night area? Also I remember very reasonably priced rum-based drinks from Cubana (Glasto Latino?). There was also a new(ish) Rum cocktail place in Silver Hayes last year, near The Blues. The problem with being partial to rum-based drinks is I have no real recollection of where and which year most places I've drunk at actually were!

Had a google and found this cached page which may help if anyone is actually compiling a thingy....
