I booked the hell out of the 20th off. Thinking that might've been a mistake, maybe if I went to work the day might pass better. Otherwise I'll probably just pack and repack 50 times and check a million times if my tickets are in my bag.

As a rule I prefer to be at work before a big event. The day tends to pass a lot quicker.

Not sure if anyone else has spotted this, but Anna Meredith has announced she's doing West Holts on the Saturday. Had a five-star Guardian live review recently. Should be suitably bonkers.

I'll be working up until late on the Tuesday before, and early the Tuesday after.

Well worth getting the Tuesday after off if you can for extra recovery time. Working on that day is bleak.

I got some kind of plague last year, was ill for three days after Glastonbury, which is impressive considering I don't stay on site, or drink booze.  So this year I've put off going back into work for a few days after

I tried working on the Tuesday after in 2013 and 14. By last year, enough was enough. I'd rather have access to my own bed than have to hide in the work toilet, even if it does involve taking annual leave.

Well after eavis basically confirmed it during his Oxford visit to a crowded room it does appear to be pretty much on.

i think we can safely assume Radiohead are playing at some point over the weekend - there's been enough to pretty much confirm that now. it's just whether it'll be a full show before Adele or something similar to their 2011 set. obviously massive differences in the appeal, performance and sheer accessibility of both of those

well Neil's previously always correct Radiohead info guy is still adamant about them playing - that's the big one. and there's been more bits and pieces (although i forget exactly what as this thread has gone back and forth so much) suggesting that they'll be there, even if not in the sub slot. could all end up being bollocks of course, and there's a high chance that all these bits and pieces have come directly from the same source, but i'm somewhat confident they'll be there in some form, although far less so about the big sub slot than i previously was

There aren't any known sources about it, unless @eFestivals is hiding something

Think reasoning behind it is Glastonbury are obviously staying tight lipped about the second top on Saturday, for some reason or another, that reason could be that Kendrick has been booked, and due to the exclusivity tag with BST, they can't/won't announce it until a certain date

Didn't someone say that there would be a special guest slot on the West Holts stage at about 18:00 on the Friday? I swear I saw this. If it's the case, could that not be another potential "Radiohead Secret Set" location? It can certainly hold more than the park can.

Fair enough, a good source is a good source (until they get it wrong of course!). If they do play I doubt it'll be before Adele. They could headline Glasto next year (I'd be very surprised if the offer wasn't already there), so not sure why they'd settle for a shorter slot, when it's not even dark yet.

I'd expect Thom to be there at the very least, either DJing (as he's done plenty of times before in SE corner), or maybe doing a solo slot with Nigel. Either way, I doubt we'll find out for ages yet.
