(Not particularly in that order)

You'd be likely to get these 5 at a normal muse gig tbf. Even Bliss is in rotation quite a bit

Aye I get you, I haven't sat and listened to Muse properly in about 5 years mind. I'll blast through the first four albums and probably come up with a completely different list :P

Yeah I've just seen it on ticketmaster, I mean charity or not, that's fucking stupidly expensive. Putting me off going really.

Yeah especially for a band I said I'll never pay to see again after Glasto

Yeah it was fucking terrible. I wasn't that blown away by them on the arena tour earlier in the year (that show confirmed to me that I'd be happy to miss them at Glasto if they clashed with LCD).

This has me so torn, but I probably won't bother. It's probably the last opportunity I'd get to see a decent Muse gig, although I guess I have Manchester Academy from 2015 to look back on.

Oh really. That arena tour was up there with the best times I've seen them. Along side Reading 2011 and Brighton 2015

Not going because:

a ) The top 10 will end up having at least 5 commonly played songs.

b ) price.

but my top 10 would be:

Assassin

New Born

Dead Star

Micro Cuts

Butterflies & Hurricanes

Thoughts of a Dying Atheist

Exo-Politics

Uno

Muscle Museum

Citzen Erased (only because I haven't seen it live personally)

Matt: What can we say? Everyone loves The Second Law...

Disturbingly..my girlfriend is a big Muse fan an absolutely loves the more recent stuff while being pretty indifferent to a lot of the early albums.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
