Not really a self confirmed but some very welcome news.

A good friend of ours spent the afternoon with us today, she's just starting a local mini tour. She is very good friends with Jolly Jock from Biggles. She said that although he is still very poorly, he is still gigging and is hoping to bring Biggles to Glastonbury again this year.

This is indeed welcome news.

Always a highlight seeing biggles on the Thursday. Never fails to entertain come rain or shine

Just spotted On Imperial Leisure's Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/imperialleisure/?fref=nf

Playing Wango's Stage in the Unfairground on Thursday night.

is that the stage that had the robots drinking Special Brew? Where Michael Eavis performed with Citizen Fish/Culture Shock (i think it was them) - good to hear it's returning after it's 30th anniversary appearance last year.

John Fairhurst just posted on Facebook 116 days to go...can't wait. Who's going?

Does this count as self confirmation?  It's pretty close in my book!

He shared the Glastonbury 2016 page with above caption

Sounds like it, excellent news.

Never heard of fairhurst until reading about him on this forum last year. Checked him out on hell stage last year.

Can't remember who championed him on here but thanks !

You are never more than 50 meters from a secret Fatboy slim set all weekend

So true! My comfort blanket at Glasto is knowing that whenever I am not sure what to do during the weekend then I just have to sit down for a while and I wait for a Fat Boy Slim secret set to appear in front of my eyes

The fabulous and unmissable Hattie has self confirmed.

  Here http://www.hattie.biz/upcoming-gigs

Just got back after seeing her perform on a mini tour in the South West. OK, she is a mate of mine, but she's got a load of new material and she was probably the best I've seen her for years, if not ever. I'd really try to make the effort to see her this year at Pilton. As always, she'll be playing on the days before the main stages open. J

Not an actual self confirmation but my husband tweeted Huey from the Fun Lovin Criminals last night asking if they would be playing at Glastonbury, and Huey liked his tweet.

Husband is taking this as a secret nod.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
