Do we think roundhouse tickets will go back on sale at some stage? I'm trying to set up the page checker but having massive problems with my Paypal at the moment (account got hacked, Paypal are trying to fix it)

Monday's are never straight forward.

Not sure myself. They've amended the Thursday and Saturday from tickets not available to sold out this morning. My tracker keeps going off every minute bit no good news at present.

just saw the ME video.

I know I am biased, but seems to me that RH must be there if ME mentioned them. To me he had no reason to mention them. He was directly asked by someone what he did in terms of booking acts and mentioned other bands that are playing so would seem rather daft if RH weren't. Would also make him look rather like a muppet so to speak if he just randomly namedropped them and they were never playing.

The dream is well and truly still ON people!

Hmmmm .....

While I arrive at much the same conclusion as you, there is a reason why he might mention them - as an Oxford band after he mentions "The" Foals are from Oxford.

But, to me, it appears to be more about who's playing this year than the Oxford connection, so who knows.

I see that viewpoint, but he was asked about what he does to book acts not about local acts so to me, it looks as though he may have spilled the beans :P

Not jumping to conclusions here and I am seeing them on Thursday so I am not as fussed as others but for ME to namedrop them if they are not playing, when he was asked about what he does towards acts that ARE playing, seems a bit....... iffy to me. Either ME misunderstood the question maybe or let slip by mistake that RH were playing.

Either way, dream still on! Lol

It's more his response after he mentions them that is telling. He looks like he's just dropped an absolute bollock, and then shortly after he starts talking about Radiohead again and how they deserve another shot at the festival. Seems to me like he's trying to cover his tracks.

Who the hell knows anymore. We'll know soon enough :P It's just amazing how many twists and turns there are to this saga. Someone should make a movie out of it.

Scott has just watched thru most of the vid, and said that Eavis mentions a big secret thing that has a rumour going around for it, which only adds to the intrigue.

If Michael confirmed it 3 weeks ago and we've been here going around in circles...:P

It seemed a lot like a slip up that he tried to quickly cover up with things like "they're an Oxford band" and "they're due a crack at it"

I'm torn between wanting to stay off this thread for a few days in the build up to Friday to avoid all setlist news and not wanting to miss a moment of the madness that this thread has come to embody.

I'm attempting to avoid all setlist news. I haven't seen the one from the second night of the tour and am hoping to avoid any more prior to Friday.

I've just run to my PC after a page change alert for Gigs and Tours. Turns out its just saying Thursday sold out now. Its a little dispiriting to see the categories gradually change from 'not available' (in my mind this means they might become available) to 'sold out' (all gone).

Looks like it's done it on all pages to Sold Out!

Yup :( although they have changed from sold out to find tickets before (with no tickets to be found) so still worth keeping an eye on it.

Are we positive it's Friday?

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
