What size acts normally headline bestival?

a bit lower than Glastonbury, but they've had the likes of Outkast, Foals, Elton John, Florence and the Machine and Stevie Wonder in recent years.

I can imagine Rob Da Bank being interested in having them play, especially with their arguably more electronic/experimental recent stuff.

So guess Radiohead wouldn't be a major shock, would be weird the only uk performance been at the Isle of Wight

Someone over on atease has linked to an interview in Dutch with the Pinkpop boss. He says they tried to get Radiohead but were told they only planned 2 European festival dates this summer.

Now obviously they've actually been announced for three but it might reduce the chances of them being announced for any other European festivals this summer - including Glasto.

That weekend left free is probably for Glasto one way or another, but might be just Thom doing the odd DJ set as usual or something.

Big gap between some of the shows so wondering why they have done this

Even though the UK is part of Europe, that can often be used to refer to mainland Europe, so may have no bearing at all on whether they'll play Glastonbury.  Give that they have been announced for 3 (mainland) European gigs, the pinkpop info appears to be out of date at best.

Yes it is.  It's just their custom 404 page: http://www.radiohead.com/wibble/

Isn't this the page with their dates? http://www.wasteheadquarters.com/schedule

Fair do's I just had an email from follow that page telling me that the page I linked to had changed.

In fact www.radiohead.com's main page has the 404 screen too, with links to dead air space and waste.

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
