NOS Alive is looking rather juicy, especially with the addition of Radiohead!

Might be my first time witnessing the almighty Yorke and co. and certainly wouldn't be the last.

Chem Bros, Hot Chip, Pixies and Foals too!

Yeah, I'm definitely there unless tickets sell out before I have the funds. Still another headliner to come too!

We have been swaying with NOS Alive, been temped to go to it in the past as well, I think the heat is potentially off putting, there's absolutely no chance you could camp in that, I've only ever camped at European festivals twice, both at Werchter, and it's bad enough. Lisbon looks nice though, so I'm considering it but with a hotel for sure

Yeah camping in that heat is a non-starter for me too, but have you seen the prices? The festival ticket alone only comes to £90 but you can get 5 nights in a hostel in Lisbon as well for way under £200. Agreed about Lisbon mate, looks stunning - always wanted to go so this is the perfect opportunity.

wish all these festivals were just a little further away from Glastonbury, because those are some awesome lineups that Radiohead are topping elsewhere in Europe

I'm a bit miffed that Primavera is at the start of June, that would be my ideal one, but I think NOS is a great compromise. Even discounting Radiohead, there's Pixies, Chemical Brothers and Hot Chip all who I'm yet to see.

Just hoping Glasto pulls out LCD, PJ and then some of the standouts from the Primavera undercard. Then I can have the best of both.

I thought that too but camping is actually fine. The campsite is full of trees so it's shaded. I've had worst cases of tent sweat at Glastonbury.Added to that Lisbon is a cracking city, the festival is really cheap and beer in the campsite was about 2 euros a pint.

They've been confirmed for Lollaplooza in Chicago 28th-31st July and two other north American festivals, not sure what that means for their Glastonbury chances but I think if they are playing it could be announced pretty soon

Chicago? North american festivals? Where? http://www.wasteheadquarters.com/schedule

So these guys playing then do we think? What's the latest headliner rumours? Do we believe Emily that the line up might get released pre resale? So many questions but I'm out of the loop...

Have a look at the primavera line up. That's what we're getting. For almost certain...

Hmmm. If that's correct I might throw my hat back in the ring for tickets. Was all over primavera until my boss told me I couldn't have the time off :(

A couple of thousand in the resale though? No chance.

Can you get the time off of that nos one in Lisbon? I dunno if you've been to Lisbon before but it's my favorite European city by far. Wonderful in every way. And much cheaper than Barcelona!

As for my earlier chat, I doubt we'll end up getting even 1% of that line up don't worry!

It's camping in the heat though isn't it? Will look at the dates but if it's in school holidays I've basically got no chance.

When/where did she say we might get some lineup before resale?

It was reported on 6 music. Said she "hoped to" reveal some. Probably won't like.

Thanks Claire but as I'm still very much on the fence I think there's people who have been steadfast since October that deserve help more :) If I can find an alternative I like I may well do that. Just annoying as Primavera would have been perfect.

Nos looks alright but not a lot of line up out yet. Definitely an option.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
