My whole Friday.

Because of the change up of Pyramid times it meant nothing I wanted to see Clashed.

Cribs - Leon Bridges - Alabama Shakes - Vaccines - Run The Jewels - Liberines - Hot Chip

Phenomenal day, and my most favourite day I've ever had at Glastonbury, the whole day just built and built and built. I didn't stop moving all day and just loved it!

Even managed to squeeze in a bit of Wolf Alice's Park set after they blew me away in William's Green the night before

Pretty much everything to be honest, managed to not really see a weak set all weekend, it felt like musical perfection to be honest.

If I was to pick one thing it would probably be John Fairhurst in The Glade, one of those wonderful moments where despite intending to be elsewhere you get dragged in by the magnetism of the performance, the roar from the crowd at the end was absolutely intense.

Many fantastic things but the hat goes off to Deadmau5 for exceeding high hopes - that set almost flashed by with goodness

Special mentions to Courtney Barnet who was brilliant, the new arcadia show and perfume genius.

And finally the stone circle back to how it should be which right brought a tear to my eye.

I can't believe how many good acts I saw this weekend, and some I'd never even heard of!

 

Glastonbury sometimes feels like a school of good music, you get educated and experience new stuff! I've now got a shed load of smaller bands and acts i'm gonna be checking out. If all goes well and I move to London in september i'm gonna be seeing some more at smaller gigs i'd hope!

Also thought Lonelady in Williams Green was great so early on Friday.

Playing the breakfast slot on Other on Sunday, Rival Sons really delivered the rock.

Yes! Somebody else who was at Rival Sons. They were great.

I loved nearly everything I saw all weekend.

Vintage fucking Trouble!!!!!

A group of extremely talented musicians (especially the singer) who seem like they're on a high whilst performing live.

Only listened to their album the night before we headed down, otherwise I wouldn't have caught them. Just brilliant, Run Like The River was a highlight moment of the week.

Other one was Dub Pistols doing Mucky Weekend. Raining, muddy, pissed and out of my tree, just perfect timing for that song.

Raghu Dixit a massive highlight for me too - as you say great humanity from him, lovely interaction with the crowd and some fantastic "dance round like a loon" moments. Absolutely what the festival is all about

One top highlight was sitting round by the John Peel Saturday, I had my Ferocious Dog top on, some guy walks past and says 'nice top' I turned round and it was Ken the lead singer, he sat down with us for ages, just chatting, was amazing. He was off to see Slaves as we were, but we just got caught up chatting and we all missed them. Funny.

I loved interacting with the actors in Shangri La. There was a guy in the USLIP box not sharing some rich tea biscuits who was great fun.

I also loved the Shrinel Richie bar. When they played a Lionel song the place went mad.

FFS headlining the John Peel last night.

 

They had a tiny crowd for a headline performance, but there seems to be real chemistry between Franz and Sparks - they were clearly really enjoying themselves on stage and have some great fun songs.

 

Also, Everything Everything. Always liked them, but they've grown a real sense of showmanship since I last saw them.

 

I saw a tiny bit of this as I was on the way to get the coach home, and I watched the whole set last night on the BBC and I have to say it was f*cking fantastic. They really nailed it.

Mary J Blige absolutely flooring me with No More Drama, an unreal performance

The chaotic funk explosion that George Clinton and crew

Alabama 3 performing my dream A3 set

Lionel shouting out "what the hell is going on here!", I loved how the moment got to him

Patti Smith shredding her vocal chords her amazing power undiminished by the years gone past

Topping it off were GOAT who ended up being my headliner on sunday, utterly mesmeric.

 

What a fine festival it was, too many other moments to mention, and a delight to share it with good friends.

Agree with the comments about Kate Tempest as well. That was a really special performance. My missus absolutely hated her on record and really didn't *get* it, but she left a big fan after watching her set at the Park. It was hard not to be blown away.

I'v just set up an account to agree with this, 

I went to Kate tempest with medium expectations, only knew 3/4 songs and its not the type of music i usually listen to.

She blew me away, defiantly my festival highlight, i had tears streaming down my face at the end.
