Yes, looks horrendous at the moment, first time for months the dust will be kept down!

It could be like that the week before the next festival and the optimists amongst us would still claim it's just softening the ground for our tent pegs 🙂

Photo I took in 2018 fallow year when we rented a cottage just next to the farm. Taken from the lime kiln ground overlooking spring ground. Amazing the fields are all in crop.

Isn't that overlooking Pennards from the Glade/Railway crossroads?

Been four years since I took it but I’m sure it was from where lime kiln meets spring ground, at the crossroads that leads onto Hitchin hill, where we had camped the previous year.

The copse of trees at the top middle is Strummerville and the path straight up is to Worthy View.
Can only find a picture of it looking down from Stummerville online.

Not so sure. Spring Ground slopes down to the right but that picture looks as though it slopes up, unless you weren’t vertical when you took it

I agree, that is 100% Pennards looking up at Strummerville. Taken from the longdrops opposite Glade on the crossroads (you can see the pit cover in the bottom right of the pic).

This was the picture I was looking for! Thats the crossroads at Hitchin hill, lime kiln and wicketground. The signpost is the footpath to the Tithe barn. This field was in crop as well.

Pennards planted with Winter Wheat! Shows Pennards is some other farmers land - ME is a dairy farmer.

I understand most land that side of the railway line belongs to other farmers.
