The "official" build doesn't start until May.

 

Anything done prior to that is just the farm hands doing a bit of prep work.

It looked like this morning that the field where the other stage goes has been cut. So maybe starting on that in the next few days. 
 

would also expect some trackway to start going down

That's the maddest thing, how quickly they build from pretty much nothing to an entire city. It's incredible.

they were still laying trackway across back of other stage field when we arrived on the Monday last year!

 

I think there was/is a shortage of it so the stuff that’s non-essential for the build can go down very last minute after it’s been used elsewhere.
