I picked up my son and most of his gear from Uni in Bath today and  swung by the site on the way home. Stopped at the Apple Tree then drove down to St Marys Gate. We then followed Cock Mill road that follows the perimeter passed Gate C then north past the SE corner. Took some pics, but nothing special. The best view we got was on the main road just east of Pilton at the top of the hill. I shoved a video on my YT channel.

I think this was the Theater tent/Astrolab. I can't remember a wind turbine last year???

This is heading back North down the hill on the east side of the site. I think this must be where the stream that travels from west to east emerges

Yes, here’s the post, will this be the future? I’d be interested in knowing what proportion of the energy needs are created by one turbine. I’m presuming it’s minimal.

Are you sure about stall holders? 

Thought they weren't allowed in before Sunday

Was going to say sounds a bit early for stall holders....won't a few of them be at IOW this weekend as well?

There was a turbine a few years back, but it was just for demonstration and didn't actually produce iirc.

I can't actually say they were stall holders at all. Just that they were mostly van towing high top trailers, there were a few cars and the odd 7 tonner 🤔

The spider always seems to be in the wrong position to my eyes, on the cam. I know it’s all angles and perspectives, but I can’t help thinking they need to shift it along a bit.

It's slightly West than last year. But also, they don't seem to have taken away the backstage area to make the field bigger. Unless those current tents are in the wrong place.
