Talking of Thatchers, I went to Pie Street in Totnes. Aside from the awesome pies, they have Thatchers Heritage on tap. Thoroughly recommend it.

Well it isn't profitable on paper,.. you know ... for tax reasons... on the £35m turn over of which over £2m gets recycled yearly back into companies held by Eavii as costs for running the festival (renting their own land, compensating themselves for shutting down the milk business for a few weeks (although every coffee and tea you have at Glastonbury apparently uses their milk (sold at inflated prices))).  But they do make £350k+ charity donations so that makes avoiding tax and profiteering perfectly acceptable.

In 2014 it had turnover of £37.3m and donated £696k to charity. Can you link all the other limited companies you know of which do the same?

Let's check the accounts of a certain aviation company to see what percentage of revenue they donate to charity shall we. It could be a good measure of which is the most "bourgeois", I'm sure you'll agree.

Sure, that's why you're  allowed to take in your own alcohol, there are no tokens, you get a free programme,  they put on acts on the Wednesday and Thursday and little sponsorship etc. Do you really think if it was purely just a business motivated by greed they couldn't have fathomed  out ways to make more profit?

Well he is a fool for not going Glasto. I had a right good doo mixing with posh people last year. Not going to lie, there were a few middle class fellas camping near us last year who at first were extremely wary of us. The women on the other hand had no such inhibitions and we're a right good laugh. We won the fellas over though by the end of the festival and had a right good laugh. I loved the way Glastonbury provided a way to break down barriers and gives a way for people who in day to day life have no dealings with each other, come together.
