Looking forward to this year's forum meet taking place at the onsite bakery and descending into a massive bread-slinging match over whether it's called Eccles cake or Chorley cake.

I think you would be a fan of the Manchester Tarts :-)

I found out recently that my best mate and his family (i'm friends with his brother and sister as well) call peas, like garden peas, "Roly Poly Peas"

He's thirty fucking four

Nothing wrong with that. I am still partial to a chuckie egg and soldiers.

This forums mad. I tell Radiohead fans they need to cheer up (in jest) and people up vote it. Post a pic of a Warbies loaf and people down vote it lol

Not Canadian by any chance is she? That's their national dish - Poutine.

That stuff looks the bomb.  I have never had any desire to travel to Canada, but to be honest I reckon it would be worth the journey just for that.

Coldplay would surely be some sort of organic wheat free, gluten free, soy bread.

Definitely, something organic, fair trade and utterly devoid of flavour.

    • Sun's out today. Can feel the hills calling. Time to ramp up the energy levels. I've been easing my way in gently the last 2 weeks with the likes of Hayley and Lael Neale and Cut Worms and Maria Somerville etc. Time to unleash some Shame, Mogwai, Place to Bury Strangers and especially Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy.  Also, just back from a brilliant night in Belfast at the Fleadh Ceoil so anything with a fiddle or a whistle or a squeeze box is drawing me like the Sirens. Madra Salach with the volume up. COME ON!!
    • My Orange car park ticket turned up today. The envelope looked like some kind of junk mail offering me a loan so I nearly didn't open it!
    • There is a bunch of TBC acts on Deftones day, according to APE insta. The obvious guesses are Fiddlehead, Nothing, Dynamite and Make Way, "Outbreak" artists playing the night before. The question is more about how are they are gonna fit in on three big stages.    is
    • SURELY Reel Big Fish will be here?
    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
