anybody know anywhere that does cans of Cubanista or Desporados? Or is there any similar flavoured lagers you can get in cans?

I've just had an email back from their marketing/PR people who've told me that they are only available wholesale to pubs/clubs at the moment. They couldn't supply me with a date for when they would be available to retail.

There is a Tesco in Shepton Mallet & Midsomer Norton

An Asda in Bedminster & Longwell Green

A Sainsburys in Emersons Green & Midsomer Norton (shite for booze though in my opinion)

An Aldi in Longwell Green

That's off the top of my head

I may or may not work there and be helped by 20% off, but to add to the 10 litres of Yarlington Mill I bought some toffee vodka and also Cana Negra rum from M&S which is absolutely one of the nicest rums I've ever tried. Thoroughly recommended.

Woodford reserve Kentucky bourbon is £22 in asda, great price for a quality bourbon.

Good call, thanks for this. My cousin got me a bottle for a birthday and I haven't found it since. He last gave me a bottle of Hudson Rye Whisky which I'm taking along this year, so I'll get one of these to join it.

In case anyone is driving from mainland Europe or knows someone who is... I moved to Luxembourg last year - first time coming to the festival from out here, and the price of alcohol and cigarettes out here is mindbogglingly low, especially with the euro being so low. I'm bringing all our group's drinks over from here:

3l Pinot Noir - €5.49 (£3.93)

3l Riesling - €7.99 (£5.72)

2x 5l easykegs of local lager €10.99 each (£7.87)

3x 70cl Bacardi €9.99 (£7.15)

70cl Bulleit Rye bourbon €19.99 (£14.31)

The only hassle will be having to do the decanting for the whole group at our end - and picking up some cans of 'home' beer on the way through (quite happy to pay whatever it costs to get some English ale at this point).

That is a damn good price for such a class bourbon. Tried to find Makers Mark at a good price but couldn't, settled for Jim Beam at £13 which is a steal.

60 cans of pisswater (Carlsberg) and a bottle of Kraken rum. debating bringing another bottle of spirit but i actually want to remember this years festival so i'll possibly just leave it at that and take it a little easier with the booze (and treat myself to a few cocktails along the way)

all the major supermarkets do a 3l box of Westons

Tesco also do a box of tree shaker which is lovely, they do a box of perry too

Tried my local Tescos. It's massive. Nothing but wine in boxes.

Tried all of the supermarkets 'round here.

Was going to order one from the Thatchers website until I got to checkout and they wanted more for P&P than the box cost.

You can order it online to your local Tesco for collection, and you wont have to pay delivery costs
