Is there a limit on alcohol you can take from the CV fields into the site? i'm only thinking a few beers and a hip flask of rum.

Also, do you still need to show your ticket every time you exit/enter the CV field to go into the site? Its a pain in the arse and my ticket ends up looking like its been through the wash after day 2.

Of course not, and yes - top tip is fold it up and put it in your Guardian Guide lanyard. Keeps it intact and makes it easy to carry/find.

One case of Orange Jubilee Mad Dogg 20/20 for me. £7.00 per 750ml at my local swally shop.

The taste of it, cold, in the sun is fabulous.

I nearly had to delete myself from the world at the thought of drinking this, i thought it was only young neds or old alkys that drank it, though that may only be in glasgow

Think I'll have a bottle of bourbon probs woodford reserve, a bottle of rum sailor Jerry's or old j, bag of red wine, crate of PBR cans crate and a crate of estrella cans. That'll do for me.

Where do you get Estrella cans from?

Me cousin just flew in from America and got me my Capt Morgans Spiced Rum 1L $20 in duty free - so that's like £14 maybe? am delighted. also picked up 1L of smirnoff from Morrisons for £15. Got some cans of somersby to add, then maybe some gin, ginger Ale and some juices for the spirts. Then thats me done.

That is a seriously good price for a litre of Morgans.

I'm thinking about getting some of these boxes and taking them this year. Not a bad price and quite tasty apparently.

Get the Lidl equivalent, it tastes better. Tried it weekend and was pleasantly surprised

I've tried it, you've made a wise choice, it's a really nice cider with a pretty easy hangover

I got a box for a preglasto test a couple of weeks back and I passed with flying colours

it was £6 at the time though, bit shit it's gone up a quid since then, well worth it though :)

Ditto, great tackle

I tried some Echo Falls fruit fusion red wine with Raspberry and Cassis at the weekend, not for the connoisseur but it goes down an absolute treat, and it'll be wine slightly warm, it's the one for me

Is there such a thing as Cubanisto in a can? That would be amazing.

According to this they've been available from wholesalers since May:

I also have a vague memory of getting a smaller sized can of Cubanisto in a bar as well.

Unfortunately I have never seen any in a super market. Was hoping I'd find somewhere to buy them to take to the festival, but had no luck so far.

Also thinking of going down the boxed cider route, is it best to buy a couple of boxes online or do they generally sell it in the shop? Can't say I ever look out for boxed alcohol so I've never noticed it.

I have a feeling I'm going to massively over-estimate the amount of alcohol I can drink. Two cans has me on a good level for a while. I know, I know.

So if you see me about say hey, there may be a cider in it for you.
